## Pricing

from $1.10 / 1,000 products

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Woolworths Scraper

Woolworths Australia grocery search — price, was-price, unit price, specials, barcode, and brand. Independent tool, not affiliated with Woolworths.

Search the Australian supermarket catalog by keyword and export one row per product. Each row includes the online price, the previous price when a special is on, the unit price, and the barcode. Use it for price checks and weekly specials lists.

| AU supermarket search | US grocery store | US weekly ad | EU leaflets |

### When to use

- Pull current Woolworths Australia prices for a shopping list or a keyword
- Keep products that are on special or half price

- Price, was-price, savings, and unit price
- Specials and half-price flags
- Barcode, brand, pack size, stock flag, and product URL
- Optional specials-only filter

### Integration examples

#### Node.js

```javascript
import { ApifyClient } from "apify-client";
const client = new ApifyClient({ token: process.env.APIFY_TOKEN });
const run = await client.actor("crawloop/woolworths-scraper").call({
  queries: ["milk"],
  maxItems: 40,
});
const { items } = await client.dataset(run.defaultDatasetId).listItems();
console.log(items);
```

#### Python

```python
from apify_client import ApifyClient
client = ApifyClient(token="YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN")
run = client.actor("crawloop/woolworths-scraper").call(run_input={
    "queries": ["milk"],
    "maxItems": 40,
})
items = client.dataset(run["defaultDatasetId"]).list_items().items
print(items)
```

- "Run Woolworths Scraper for milk and return the first 20 rows as JSON with price and unit price"
- "Scrape Woolworths specials for bread and list name, price, and was-price"
- "Run Woolworths Scraper for olive oil, then compare pack prices with Walmart Scraper for the same keyword"

### Suite next step

After the Australian catalog row, run [Walmart Scraper](https://apify.com/crawloop/walmart-scraper) when the same product also needs a US store price.

### FAQ

#### Does this cover Coles or ALDI Australia?

No. This Actor searches Woolworths Australia only.

#### Are prices the in-store shelf price?

Rows use the online catalog price from search. A chosen supermarket can differ.

#### Can I schedule a specials check?

Yes. Set `specialsOnly` to true and schedule the run. Products that are not on special are skipped.
