## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Social Media Email Finder: YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn

![Creator emails from any social profile](https://api.apify.com/v2/key-value-stores/gAlbyeZrHZvUFkmBd/records/hero-96c88018.png)

Paste a list of **YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter) or LinkedIn** profiles and get the **contact email** for each one. Emails come from our creator database, built from profile bios, linked pages and other public sources, so you get more than what a scraper of one bio would find.

**You only pay for emails found: $0.10 each.** Profiles without an email, and lookup errors, are free. A run costs $0.0001 to start, whatever its size.

### 🎯 Who it's for

- **Influencer marketing**: build outreach lists of creators across platforms in one go
- **Agencies**: enrich client creator lists with contact emails, in bulk or through the API
- **Brand partnerships and sales**: reach creators and businesses in your niche
- **Creator platforms and CRMs**: fill in missing contact data

### ⚙️ How it works

![How it works](https://api.apify.com/v2/key-value-stores/gAlbyeZrHZvUFkmBd/records/how-it-works-d67fe72b.png)

1. **Paste profiles.** Profile URLs from any of the 5 platforms, mixed in one list, up to 1,000 per run. Usernames and IDs work too.
2. **We look them up.** Each profile is matched against our creator database, 10 at a time. Most runs take seconds.
3. **Export and reach out.** One row per profile with the email, its status and the profile link. Download CSV, Excel or JSON, or read the dataset through the Apify API.

### 📤 What you get

![Sample output](https://api.apify.com/v2/key-value-stores/gAlbyeZrHZvUFkmBd/records/output-4fb9acfa.png)

```json
{
  "query": "https://www.youtube.com/@TheDiaryOfACEO",
  "platform": "youtube",
  "user_id": "UCGq-a57w-aPwyi3pW7XLiHw",
  "username": "@TheDiaryOfACEO",
  "email": "dom@stevenbartlett.com",
  "status": "success",
  "error": null,
  "profile_url": "https://www.youtube.com/@TheDiaryOfACEO",
  "hint": null
}
```

| status | Meaning | Charged |
|---|---|---|
| `success` | Email found | ✅ $0.10 |
| `not_found` | We have no email for this profile | Free |
| `error` | The input could not be read (e.g. a bare username with no platform) or the lookup failed | Free |

### 📝 Input

| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| **Profiles** | Profile URLs, @handles, usernames or IDs, one per line, up to 1,000 per run |
| **Platform of bare usernames / IDs** | Only needed for entries that are not URLs, such as `natgeo` or `91485365`. YouTube channel IDs (`UC...`) are recognised on their own |

Accepted formats:

| Platform | URL | Username / ID |
|---|---|---|
| YouTube | `https://www.youtube.com/@TheDiaryOfACEO`, `https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC...` | `@TheDiaryOfACEO`, `UCGq-a57w-aPwyi3pW7XLiHw` |
| Instagram | `https://www.instagram.com/natgeo` | `natgeo`, numeric user ID |
| TikTok | `https://www.tiktok.com/@khaby.lame` | `khaby.lame`, numeric user ID |
| X / Twitter | `https://x.com/MKBHD`, `https://twitter.com/MKBHD` | `MKBHD`, numeric user ID |
| LinkedIn | `https://www.linkedin.com/in/williamhgates` | `williamhgates`, `ACoAA...` member ID |

```json
{
  "profiles": [
    "https://www.youtube.com/@TheDiaryOfACEO",
    "https://www.instagram.com/natgeo",
    "https://x.com/MKBHD"
  ]
}
```

**Existing integrations keep working.** The single-profile input of the first version (`platform` with `user_id`, `username` or `url`) is still accepted, and the output keeps the same fields.

### 💰 Pricing

![Pricing](https://api.apify.com/v2/key-value-stores/gAlbyeZrHZvUFkmBd/records/pricing-cfe7b1e9.png)

| | Price |
|---|---|
| Email found (`success`) | **$0.10** ($100 per 1,000) |
| Profile without email (`not_found`) or error | Free |
| Run start (any number of profiles) | $0.0001 |

No subscription. Set **Maximum cost per run** to cap your spend: the run stops before going over and tells you how many profiles are left.

### 🎬 Need the hidden YouTube business email?

Many YouTube creators keep their business email behind the **"View email address"** button on their channel, which needs a signed-in account and a reCAPTCHA. For those, use our [YouTube Channel Email Scraper](https://apify.com/creatorlens/youtube-channel-email-scraper): it reveals that exact address. YouTube rows here without an email carry a `hint` pointing there.

### 🏢 For high-volume teams

- **Bulk**: 1,000 profiles per run, as many runs in parallel as you need.
- **API and integrations**: start runs and read results from your own pipeline, Make, Zapier or n8n.
- **Schedules**: refresh your creator lists daily or weekly with Apify Schedules.

### ❓ FAQ

**Do I pay for profiles without an email?**
No. Only rows with `status: success` are charged, $0.10 each. The run start fee is $0.0001.

**Where do the emails come from?**
From our creator database, built from public sources: profile bios, linked websites and link pages, and other public data about the creator. It is not limited to what one bio shows right now.

**Can I mix platforms in one run?**
Yes. Use profile URLs and the platform is detected for each line. Bare usernames and numeric IDs need the **Platform** option, since `natgeo` could exist on several platforms.

**I used the single-profile input before. Do I need to change anything?**
No. `platform` + `user_id` / `username` / `url` still works and returns the same fields. To check many profiles at once, put them in **Profiles** instead of starting one run per profile.

**Is this data public?**
The emails come from public sources where creators and businesses publish them for contact. Use them for relevant outreach and follow the anti-spam laws that apply to you (CAN-SPAM, GDPR and similar).

**Something not working?**
Open an issue on this actor's page with your run ID and we'll look into it.
