## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## ATS Jobs Feed: Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday, Workable, Recruitee, Personio, BambooHR and more in one format

Get every open job from company career pages in **one normalized dataset**. Paste career page URLs or just company names and the Actor pulls jobs from 13 popular applicant tracking systems (ATS):

| ATS | Example input |
|---|---|
| Greenhouse | `boards.greenhouse.io/stripe` |
| Lever | `jobs.lever.co/spotify` |
| Ashby | `jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp` |
| SmartRecruiters | `careers.smartrecruiters.com/BoschGroup` |
| Workday | `nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite` |
| Workable | `apply.workable.com/huggingface` |
| Recruitee | `bunq.recruitee.com` |
| Personio | `deskbird.jobs.personio.de` (or `.com`) |
| BambooHR | `d1g1t.bamboohr.com/careers` |
| Breezy HR | `beli.breezy.hr` |
| Pinpoint | `workwithus.pinpointhq.com` |
| Rippling ATS | `ats.rippling.com/rippling/jobs` |
| Teamtailor | `ecoonline.teamtailor.com` or `teamtailor:careers.yourcompany.com` for a custom domain |
| Company name only | `Notion` (auto-detects Greenhouse, Ashby, Lever, Workable or Recruitee) |

You can also force an ATS with a prefix, for example `workable:huggingface`, `recruitee:bunq` or `personio:deskbird`.

It works as a **Workable jobs scraper**, a **Recruitee jobs API** client, a **Personio jobs XML** reader, a **BambooHR careers scraper**, a **Breezy HR jobs scraper**, a **Rippling ATS jobs scraper** and a **Teamtailor jobs feed**, all with the same output fields as Greenhouse, Lever and Workday.

### Why use it

- **One schema for all ATS.** Same fields whether the job came from Greenhouse, Workday, Workable or BambooHR. No more thirteen scrapers and thirteen parsers.
- **Salary ranges extracted.** Structured pay data from Ashby, Lever, Recruitee, Pinpoint and Rippling, the salary line from Breezy HR, plus pay transparency ranges parsed from job descriptions on the other ATS.
- **New jobs only mode.** Schedule the Actor daily and get only jobs that appeared since the last run. Perfect for job alerts, sales signals and hiring trackers.
- **Fast and reliable.** Uses the public job board endpoints that companies publish for their own career sites. No browser, no login, no proxies.
- **Filters built in.** Title keywords, excluded words, locations, remote only, posted within N days.

### Use cases

- **Recruiting and job boards:** build a niche job board (remote, AI, climate, Web3) from hundreds of company boards.
- **Sales intelligence:** companies hiring for "Data Engineer" or "Head of Security" are buying signals.
- **Market research:** track hiring by department, location and salary across competitors.
- **AI agents:** call it from an agent via the Apify MCP server to answer "which fintech companies are hiring remote backend engineers?"

### Output example

```json
{
  "source": "ashby",
  "company": "ramp",
  "title": "Senior Software Engineer, Backend",
  "department": "Engineering",
  "location": "New York, NY (HQ)",
  "locations": ["New York, NY (HQ)", "Remote (US)"],
  "remote": true,
  "workplaceType": "hybrid",
  "employmentType": "FullTime",
  "salaryMin": 211400,
  "salaryMax": 290600,
  "salaryCurrency": "USD",
  "salaryPeriod": "year",
  "postedAt": "2026-09-30T14:02:11.000Z",
  "url": "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp/...",
  "applyUrl": "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp/.../application",
  "id": "ashby:ramp:5f7a...",
  "scrapedAt": "2026-10-02T09:00:00.000Z"
}
```

Turn on **Include full job description** to also get `descriptionText` and `descriptionHtml`.

### Pricing

You pay only for jobs saved to the dataset. Filters run before saving, so filtered-out jobs cost nothing. Set a maximum cost per run in the run options and the Actor stops cleanly when it is reached.

### Tips

- Find a company's board: open its careers page and look at the job links.
- Recruitee and Teamtailor career sites often run on the company's own domain. For Recruitee use the `company.recruitee.com` address; for Teamtailor use `teamtailor:careers.company.com`.
- Some ATS publish fewer fields: BambooHR and Rippling add posting dates, pay ranges and descriptions only when **Include full job description** is on, and Pinpoint does not publish posting dates.
- For Workday, paste the URL of the job search page, for example `https://company.wd1.myworkdayjobs.com/en-US/External`.
- Use different **State key** values for different watchlists in new-jobs mode.
- The `RUN_SUMMARY` record in the key-value store shows which boards were found, skipped or failed.

### Legal

The Actor reads job postings that companies publish publicly for applicants. It does not log in and does not collect applicant data. You are responsible for using the data in line with applicable laws and the terms of the sites involved.

# Actor input Schema

## `companies` (type: `array`):

One per line. Paste a careers page URL from Greenhouse (boards.greenhouse.io/stripe), Lever (jobs.lever.co/spotify), Ashby (jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp), SmartRecruiters (careers.smartrecruiters.com/BoschGroup), Workday (nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite), Workable (apply.workable.com/huggingface), Recruitee (bunq.recruitee.com), Personio (deskbird.jobs.personio.de), BambooHR (d1g1t.bamboohr.com/careers), Breezy HR (beli.breezy.hr), Pinpoint (workwithus.pinpointhq.com), Rippling (ats.rippling.com/rippling/jobs) or Teamtailor (ecoonline.teamtailor.com), or just a company name (we try Greenhouse, Ashby, Lever, Workable and Recruitee automatically). You can also force an ATS with a prefix such as greenhouse:stripe, workable:huggingface or teamtailor:careers.company.com.

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

Keep jobs whose title contains any of these words (case-insensitive). Leave empty for all jobs.

## `excludeKeywords` (type: `array`):

Drop jobs whose title contains any of these words, e.g. intern, senior.

## `locations` (type: `array`):

Keep jobs whose location contains any of these words, e.g. London, Germany, remote.

## `remoteOnly` (type: `boolean`):

Keep only jobs marked remote by the ATS or with "remote" in the location.

## `postedWithinDays` (type: `integer`):

0 means no date filter.

## `includeDescription` (type: `boolean`):

Adds descriptionText and descriptionHtml. Slower for Workday, SmartRecruiters, BambooHR and Rippling, which need one extra request per job (this also adds posting dates and pay ranges for BambooHR and Rippling).

## `onlyNewJobs` (type: `boolean`):

Great for scheduled monitoring. Remembers job IDs between runs (per state key).

## `stateKey` (type: `string`):

Use different keys for different watchlists.

## `maxJobsPerCompany` (type: `integer`):

0 means no limit.

## `maxTotalJobs` (type: `integer`):
