## Pricing

from $2.10 / 1,000 hotels

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Google Hotels Scraper: Prices by Provider, Ratings, Amenities

Get **Google Hotels prices for your exact dates and guests**: the nightly and total price from every booking site Google shows (Booking.com, Expedia, Hotels.com, Agoda, Trip.com, the hotel's official site and more), plus rating, review count, hotel class, amenities, address and coordinates.

Search a whole city or area ("Paris", "Shibuya, Tokyo", "Times Square, New York") or check specific hotels by name, Google Hotels link or Google Maps link. Any currency, adults and children.

### What you get (one row per hotel)

| Field | Example |
|---|---|
| `name`, `hotelClass`, `rating`, `reviewCount` | "Hotel Riu Plaza London The Westminster", 4, 4.3, 7,512 |
| `pricePerNight`, `totalPrice` | cheapest base price for your stay, e.g. 326 and 652 |
| `pricePerNightWithTaxes`, `totalPriceWithTaxes` | the same with taxes and fees when Google shows them |
| `cheapestProvider` | "Booking.com" |
| `prices[]` | every provider: `provider`, `official` (hotel's own site), nightly and total price, with and without taxes |
| `currency`, `checkIn`, `checkOut`, `nights`, `adults`, `children` | echo of your search |
| `priceAvailable` | `false` when Google shows no rate for these dates (sold out or not bookable) |
| `amenities[]` | "Free Wi-Fi", "Pool", "Fitness center", "No pets" ... as listed on Google |
| `address`, `phone`, `latitude`, `longitude`, `placeId`, `categories` | location data |
| `googleHotelsUrl` | Google Hotels page for this hotel with your dates and currency |
| `searchQuery`, `position` or `hotelInput` | which input produced the row |
| `scrapedAt` | ISO time |

### How to use

1. Add **Locations** (cities, areas, landmarks) and/or **Hotels** (names, Google Hotels links that contain `/entity/`, or Google Maps place links).
2. Pick **check-in and check-out** (empty = 14 days from today, one night), **adults**, **children ages** and **currency**.
3. Set **Max hotels per location** (Google lists 20 per page; up to 200) and run. Export as JSON, CSV, Excel, or use the API.

Example input:

```json
{
  "locations": ["Paris", "Times Square, New York"],
  "hotels": ["Ritz Paris"],
  "checkIn": "2026-12-03",
  "checkOut": "2026-12-05",
  "adults": 2,
  "childrenAges": [7],
  "currency": "EUR",
  "maxResults": 40
}
```

### Reliability

- Uses only public Google pages that Google's robots.txt allows (Maps search and Google Hotels hotel pages). No login, no CAPTCHA solving.
- Apify datacenter proxy by default with automatic IP rotation and exponential backoff on rate limits. Residential proxies are not needed.
- Every hotel page is checked against the requested dates; if Google returns other dates, prices are left empty instead of being wrong. If the page layout changes, the run reports it instead of saving bad numbers.
- Bad input (past dates, check-out before check-in, unknown currency, search-page links) stops in seconds with a clear message, so you do not pay for empty runs.

### Pricing

Pay per result: **$3.00 per 1,000 hotels** (one row = one hotel with all of its provider prices) plus a tiny Actor start fee. Higher Apify plans get a discount. Hotels that fail to load are not saved and not charged.

### FAQ

**Why do some hotels have `priceAvailable: false`?** Google shows no rate for those dates and guests (sold out, minimum stay, or the hotel is not bookable online). The hotel data is still returned.

**Which price is the "price per night"?** The cheapest base nightly rate among providers. `pricePerNightWithTaxes` adds taxes and fees when Google lists them separately (common for US and some other regions).

**Can I search a Google Hotels results page URL?** No. Search pages live under a path Google asks robots not to crawl. Put the city in Locations instead, or paste individual hotel links (they contain `/entity/`).

**Does the country setting change prices?** It sets Google's region. Some providers, taxes and price display can differ by region.

**Use with AI agents (MCP)**: call this Actor from Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor through the Apify MCP server (`https://mcp.apify.com`) with input like `{"locations": ["Rome"], "checkIn": "2027-02-10", "checkOut": "2027-02-12"}`.

### Limits

- Up to 200 hotels per location, 30 nights per stay, about 330 days ahead.
- Prices are what Google shows at run time for the chosen region; they change often.
- If Google does not recognize a location, Maps may fall back to hotels from another area. Check `address` or use a clearer name ("Shibuya, Tokyo" rather than "Shibuya").

# Actor input Schema
