### 2.0, October 2026 update

- **Faster and cheaper**: scrapes with plain HTTP requests instead of a headless browser. Runs finish in seconds and use 256 MB of memory.
- **Fixed: "Recent" sort was being ignored** and returned the same posts as "Top". Recent now returns posts newest first, and hashtag + Recent reads Threads' live newest-posts feed for the tag.
- **Blocked or empty pages are retried** on a fresh session, and are never charged.
- **Output schema and field descriptions**, so the Output tab, the API and AI agents know what each field means.
- Date filters use date pickers. Input is grouped into Filters and Advanced sections.

### 2.0 (August to September 2026)

- **No login needed**: runs cookieless. The old `cookies` input is ignored.
- **Several search terms per run** (`searchQueries`), each result tagged with `search_query`. The old single `searchQuery` field still works.
- **Hashtag search**, **Recent / Top sort**, and **date filters** (`dateFrom`, `dateTo`, `lastDays`).
- **Monitor mode**: each run returns only posts not seen in previous runs, for scheduled monitoring.
- **Pay per search**: one `search` event per search term. Blocked or unparseable searches are not charged.

The original version: keyword search returning the full Threads post object with a `post_url`. Late 2025 versions required a Threads login cookie.
