## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## PNCP Brazil Government Contracts & Price Records (Atas)

A daily feed of **Brazilian government contracts** and **price registration records (atas de registro de preço)** from **PNCP**, the official national procurement portal: what was bought, by which public body, from which supplier, for how much, and until when.

### What you can do with it

- 🏆 **Competitive intelligence**: see which companies are winning government contracts in your market, and at what values.
- 🎯 **B2B leads**: companies that just won a public contract often need suppliers, financing, insurance or staff.
- 🤝 **Find atas open to adhesion (*carona*)**: valid price registration records that other agencies can join, a shortcut for public buyers and an opportunity for suppliers.
- 📊 **Spending analysis** by agency, state, value or supplier.

### How to use

1. Open this Actor in Apify Console (you can try it on Apify's free plan).
2. Fill in the input, or keep the example values to see how the output looks.
3. Click **Start** and wait for the run to finish.
4. Download the results as JSON, CSV or Excel from the run's output, or get them through the Apify API.
5. To get fresh data automatically, create an Apify **Schedule** for the Actor (for example, every morning).

### Input examples

**Yesterday's IT contracts (no purchase orders) above R$ 20,000:**

```json
{
  "tipo": "contratos",
  "palavrasChave": ["notebook", "computador", "software"],
  "palavrasExcluidas": ["computadorizado"],
  "excluirEmpenhos": true,
  "valorMinimo": 20000
}
```

**Every 2026 contract between one agency and one supplier** (fast, because the agency filter runs at the source):

```json
{
  "tipo": "contratos",
  "cnpjOrgao": "46.522.959/0001-98",
  "cnpjFornecedor": "12.345.678/0001-90",
  "dataInicial": "2026-01-01",
  "dataFinal": "2026-10-16"
}
```

To follow a supplier across **all** agencies, run the Actor daily with `cnpjFornecedor` over the last day and accumulate the results. Scanning a whole year of nationwide contracts in one run would take days.

**Valid atas open to adhesion, updated in the last day:**

```json
{ "tipo": "atas", "apenasVigentes": true, "apenasComAdesao": true }
```

### Output

**Contract** (`tipoRegistro: "contrato"`): `numeroControlePNCP`, `url`, `objeto`, `tipoContrato` (Contrato, Empenho, Comodato…), `categoria`, `numeroContrato`, `processo`, `valorInicial`, `valorGlobal`, `valorParcela`, `numeroParcelas`, `valorAcumulado`, `dataAssinatura`, `dataVigenciaInicio`, `dataVigenciaFim`, `dataPublicacao`, `fornecedorTipo` (PJ/PF/PE), `fornecedorDocumento`, `fornecedorNome`, `frutoDeAdesao`, `orgaoCnpj`, `orgaoNome`, `esfera`, `poder`, `unidadeNome`, `municipio`, `codigoIbge`, `uf`, `numeroControlePncpCompra` (links back to the tender).

**Ata** (`tipoRegistro: "ata"`): `numeroControlePNCP`, `url`, `objeto`, `numeroAta`, `dataAssinatura`, `dataVigenciaInicio`, `dataVigenciaFim`, `permiteAdesao`, `cancelada`, `orgaoCnpj`, `orgaoNome`, `unidadeNome`, `numeroControlePncpCompra`.

**Privacy:** when the supplier is an individual (`fornecedorTipo: "PF"`), the CPF is masked (`***.456.789-**`), following the Brazilian government's own transparency-portal practice.

### Performance

PNCP only filters these records by date and agency, so keyword, state, value and supplier filters are applied while scanning. About **9,000 contracts are published per day**, which takes roughly 15–20 minutes to scan at the pace PNCP allows. Searches with `maxResultados` stop as soon as enough results are found. For long periods, filter by **agency CNPJ** (filtered at the source, so it is fast) or run daily and accumulate the results. You are charged only for results delivered, not for records scanned.

Atas are listed by **last update date**, which covers newly published records and changes. PNCP does not report the state (UF) of atas.

### How much does it cost?

You pay **US$ 0.002 per contract or ata** delivered to your dataset (US$ 2 per 1,000), plus a tiny start fee per run. Records scanned and filtered out are free.

- A daily feed of 50 filtered contracts: about **US$ 0.10 per day**.
- 1,000 records: about **US$ 2**.
- Control your spend with `maxResultados` and the run's maximum charge setting.

### Data source

### FAQ

**Can I use it from my code or an AI agent?** Yes. Every Apify Actor can be called through the Apify API and the official clients, and AI agents can find and run it through the Apify MCP server.

**Is the data official?** Yes. It comes straight from the official public source listed under "Data source", with no manual edits.

**Something broke or you need a field?** Open an issue on the Actor's *Issues* tab.

## `modoPalavrasChave` (type: `string`):

"Any" returns records containing at least one keyword; "All" requires every keyword.
