## What's an Apify Actor?

Actors are web data automations that power AI and operations. They run on the Apify platform to scrape websites, process data, connect APIs, and automate workflows.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.
Actors are written with capital "A".

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.
The best way to integrate Actors is as follows.

- **AI agents and MCP clients** — the [Apify MCP server](https://docs.apify.com/integrations/mcp.md) at `https://mcp.apify.com` (remote, streamable HTTP, OAuth on first use).
- **Agentic workflows and local Actor development** — [Agent Skills](https://apify.com/.well-known/agent-skills/index.json) with the [Apify CLI](https://docs.apify.com/cli/docs.md): `npm install -g apify-cli`, then `apify login`.
- **JavaScript/TypeScript projects** — the official [JS/TS client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md): `npm install apify-client`.
- **Python projects** — the official [Python client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md): `pip install apify-client`.
- **Any other language** — the [REST API](https://docs.apify.com/api/v2.md).

For usage examples, see the [API](#api) section below.

# README

## Gupy Jobs Scraper

Gets open jobs — title, city, work model, type and publish date — from any company's Gupy careers page, filtered by term, city and remote-only, built for recruiters, edtechs, market researchers and candidates.

### Use cases

- A recruiter monitors a set of target companies' Gupy pages for new openings in a role.
- An edtech tracks demand for a skill (e.g. "Python") across dozens of companies using Gupy.
- A candidate sets up a daily run to get notified the moment a remote role opens at a shortlist of companies.

### Input example

```json
{
  "empresas": ["nubank"],
  "termo": "desenvolvedor",
  "cidade": "",
  "remoto": false,
  "maximo": 100,
  "maxItems": 100
}
```

### Output example

```json
{
  "id": "1234567",
  "vaga": "Desenvolvedor(a) Backend Pleno",
  "empresa": "nubank",
  "cidade": "São Paulo",
  "modelo": "remoto",
  "tipo": "effective",
  "publicada_em": "2026-08-20T10:00:00.000Z",
  "url": "https://nubank.gupy.io/jobs/1234567",
  "coletado_em": "2026-09-04T12:00:00+00:00",
  "url_origem": "https://nubank.gupy.io/jobs/1234567"
}
```

### Price

**US$ 2.00 per 1,000 results, no subscription.**

### How to use

- **API**: call via the Apify API with `empresas` (array of Gupy company subdomains, the part before `.gupy.io`), optional `termo`, `cidade`, `remoto` and `maxItems`.
- **Scheduled**: run daily with Apify Schedules to catch new postings.
- **Integrations**: n8n, Make or Zapier via the Apify app to feed a job board or Slack alert.

### Limitations

- This Actor targets one company (Gupy subdomain) at a time; it does not search across all companies on Gupy at once.
- The exact field names returned by Gupy's public jobs API were inferred from its documented public behavior (used by the company's own careers page) and are marked `# TODO: verificar seletor real antes de publicar` in `src/main.py` — confirm against a live response before publishing.
- If Gupy changes its API response shape, the Actor fails with a clear error instead of returning an empty dataset.
- Open an issue if a company's Gupy page stops returning jobs.

This Actor collects only public data and respects Gupy's terms of use.
