# OFAC SDN check for company names

**Use case:** 

Check company names against the US Treasury's Specially Designated Nationals list on its own, for workflows where OFAC is the controlling list. A looser match threshold catches transliteration and spelling variants. Each hit carries the SDN entry, the programme it was listed under and the match score, so an analyst can accept or clear it.
