## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Shopify Store Leads Finder — find Shopify stores by niche & country, with emails and WhatsApp

Find **Shopify stores** selling anything you choose (perfume, abaya, coffee, skincare, kids clothing…) in the **UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman**, the US, UK and more — and get a ready-to-use **lead list** with emails, phone numbers, WhatsApp links, Instagram / TikTok / Snapchat, product counts, price range and the apps each store uses.

Every store is **verified as a live Shopify storefront** before it lands in your dataset, so you never pay for blogs, marketplaces or dead links.

### Who is it for?

- **Shopify app developers** looking for merchants to install their app
- **Agencies and freelancers** selling design, ads, SEO, WhatsApp bots or apps to e-commerce brands
- **Payment, shipping and BNPL providers** prospecting GCC merchants (see who already uses Tabby or Tamara)
- **Suppliers and wholesalers** finding online retailers in a niche
- **Market researchers** sizing a niche: how many stores, what they charge, how active they are

### What data do you get?

| Field | Example (illustrative) |
|---|---|
| Store name & website | Example Perfumes · https://example-perfumes.ae |
| Country, city, currency | AE · Dubai · AED |
| Emails | hello@example-perfumes.ae |
| Phones & WhatsApp | +971501234567 |
| Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, Facebook, X, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest | https://www.instagram.com/exampleperfumes |
| Products count & collections count | 184 · 12 |
| Price range & median price | 45 – 950 · median 220 |
| Top product types & vendors | Perfume, Bakhoor, Gift Set |
| Last product update | 2026-10-12 (is the store active?) |
| Apps detected | Klaviyo, Judge.me, Tabby (BNPL), Tamara (BNPL), Snapchat Pixel |
| Shopify theme, myshopify domain, ships-to countries | Dawn · example-perfumes.myshopify.com |

Download as **Excel, CSV, JSON** or connect to Google Sheets, HubSpot, Make, Zapier or n8n.

### How to use

1. Enter one or more **niche keywords** — e.g. `perfume`, `abaya`, `specialty coffee`.
2. Pick your **markets** — e.g. UAE and Saudi Arabia.
3. Set **Max store leads** and click **Start**.

Tip: tick **Only stores with an email, phone or WhatsApp** to get a contact-ready list — stores without contacts are skipped and not charged.

Already have a list of domains? Paste them into **Store URLs to enrich** to check which run on Shopify and pull the same data, without any search.

#### Example input

```json
{
  "keywords": ["perfume", "abaya"],
  "markets": ["UAE", "Saudi Arabia"],
  "maxStores": 100,
  "onlyWithContacts": true
}
```

### Pricing

**Pay per result: $10 per 1,000 verified store leads** ($0.01 per store). No subscription, no start fee. Sites that aren't Shopify, stores outside your market and (if you choose) stores without contacts are **not charged**. Set a maximum cost per run in Apify for full control.

### How it works

1. Searches Google for stores in your niche and market (via Apify's Google SERP proxy).
2. Confirms each site is a live Shopify store using its public store information.
3. Reads public pages only — the product feed, homepage and contact page — for prices, activity, contacts, social profiles and apps.

The run summary (key-value store → `SUMMARY`) shows how many candidates were checked, skipped and delivered.

### FAQ

**How many stores can I find?** It depends on the niche. Broad keywords (perfume, fashion, coffee) in the UAE or Saudi return hundreds of stores; run several related keywords to grow the list.

**Why are some contact fields empty?** Some stores only show a contact form. Use *Only stores with an email, phone or WhatsApp* to skip those.

**Is this legal?** The Actor only reads publicly available business information that stores publish for customers. You are responsible for using it in line with applicable laws (e.g. anti-spam rules) when you contact businesses.

**Can it use my own store list?** Yes — paste domains into *Store URLs to enrich*.

# Actor input Schema

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

What the stores sell, e.g. abaya, perfume, coffee, skincare, kids clothing. Each keyword is searched in every market you pick.

## `markets` (type: `array`):

Where the stores are based. GCC markets (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman) are matched on the store's registered country or currency.

## `maxStores` (type: `integer`):

The run stops after this many verified Shopify stores. You only pay for stores delivered.

## `includeContacts` (type: `boolean`):

Reads the homepage and contact page for emails, phone numbers, WhatsApp links, Instagram/TikTok/Snapchat and installed apps.

## `onlyWithContacts` (type: `boolean`):

Skip (and don't charge for) stores where no contact was found.

## `strictCountryMatch` (type: `boolean`):

Keep only stores whose Shopify country or currency matches the selected market. Turn off to also keep stores that just rank for the market.

## `storeUrls` (type: `array`):

Already have a list of domains? Paste them here to verify they run on Shopify and enrich them. No search is needed.

## `searchPagesPerQuery` (type: `integer`):

More pages find more stores but take longer.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Defaults to Apify datacenter proxy. Google search always uses Apify's Google SERP proxy.
