## Pricing

from $1.00 / 1,000 events

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Events Scraper - Eventbrite, Meetup & Luma in one

Find **upcoming events in any city across Eventbrite, Meetup and Luma** in a single run, in **one
format**. Search by keyword or list everything coming up, filter by date window and free events,
and export to CSV, Excel or JSON.

### Why this one

- **Three platforms, one table.** Eventbrite (ticketed events and conferences), Meetup (community
  groups) and Luma (tech, startup and creator events) cover very different crowds. One run gets
  all of them, with the same columns.
- **Times you can trust.** Every start time is converted to UTC (`startAt`), with the original time
  zone kept, so events from different platforms sort correctly.
- **Duplicates and old events removed.** Past events are skipped, and each event appears once even
  if several keywords match it.
- **Useful filters.** Keywords, "only the next N days", and free-only.
- **You only pay for events.** Empty or failed searches are listed in `RUN_SUMMARY` and cost nothing.

### Input

| Field | Example |
|---|---|
| City | `San Francisco`, `London`, `Berlin` |
| State (US only) | `CA` |
| Country | `US`, `GB`, `DE` |
| Keywords | `AI`, `startup`, `yoga` (empty = all upcoming events) |
| Platforms | Eventbrite, Meetup, Luma |
| Only the next N days | `14` |
| Free events only | on/off |

### Output

```json
{
    "platform": "eventbrite",
    "eventId": "2003262049717",
    "title": "San Francisco Tech & AI Social",
    "url": "https://www.eventbrite.com/e/san-francisco-tech-ai-social-tickets-2003262049717",
    "startAt": "2026-11-05T01:00:00.000Z",
    "endAt": "2026-11-05T03:00:00.000Z",
    "timezone": "America/Los_Angeles",
    "isOnline": false,
    "venueName": "Bella",
    "address": "316 11th Street, San Francisco, CA 94103",
    "city": "San Francisco",
    "region": "CA",
    "country": "US",
    "latitude": 37.7713355,
    "longitude": -122.4126,
    "organizer": null,
    "isFree": true,
    "minPrice": null,
    "currency": null,
    "attendees": null,
    "tags": ["Business & Professional", "Meeting or Networking Event"],
    "keyword": "AI",
    "searchCity": "San Francisco"
}
```

Fields a platform doesn't publish are `null`: Meetup and Luma give attendee counts, Eventbrite
gives tags and coordinates, Luma and Eventbrite give end times.

### Use cases

- **Event discovery and newsletters:** a weekly list of AI, startup or community events in your city.
- **Sales and partnerships:** find conferences, meetups and organizers in your industry.
- **Venues and sponsors:** see what is happening where, and how many people attend.
- **Market research:** compare event activity by topic across cities.

### Pricing

Pay per event, one fixed price with platform usage included. See the Pricing tab. Failed searches are free.

### Good to know

- **Meetup** returns its first page of results per keyword (typically 10-30 events). Add more
  specific keywords to get more.
- **Luma** lists events for about 90 major cities and has no keyword search, so keywords are matched
  against Luma event titles. Cities Luma doesn't cover are skipped with a note in the log.
- **Eventbrite** returns up to 20 events per page and the Actor pages through until your limit.
