## Pricing

from $0.10 / 1,000 results

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Google Play Scraper - reviews, app details, search, developer

**All of Google Play in one Actor.** Collect app **reviews** with star filters, full **app
details**, **search results**, **every app from a developer**, and **similar apps**, as clean
tables for any country and language.

### Why this one

- **Five tools in one.** Reviews, app details, search, developer catalog and similar apps share one
  input and one output format, so you don't need a separate scraper for each.
- **Star filters that work.** Ask for 500 one- and two-star reviews and you get 500 that match.
  The Actor keeps paging until it has them, instead of filtering a fixed batch.
- **Privacy-safe reviews.** Reviewer names and profile pictures are never collected. You get the
  rating, text, date, likes, app version and the developer's reply, which is what analysis needs,
  with no personal data to handle under GDPR or CCPA.
- **Full app details on demand.** Installs (exact count, not just "100M+"), rating histogram,
  price, in-app purchases, ads, version, last update, content rating, genre.
- **You only pay for results.** Apps that don't exist or invalid IDs are listed in `RUN_SUMMARY`
  and cost nothing.

### Modes

| Mode | Input | One row per |
|---|---|---|
| Reviews | app IDs or Play URLs | review |
| App details | app IDs or Play URLs | app |
| Search results | search terms | app listing (optionally full details) |
| Developer's apps | developer name, ID or page URL | app listing (optionally full details) |
| Similar apps | app IDs or Play URLs | app listing (optionally full details) |

### Output examples

### Use cases

- **Product teams:** read every complaint about your app (or a competitor's) after a release.
- **App marketing and ASO:** compare ratings, installs and update cadence across a category.
- **Market research:** list every app a developer publishes, or map the competitors Google
  considers similar.
- **AI analysis:** feed thousands of reviews into a sentiment or topic model.

### Pricing

Pay per result (review, app or listing). See the Pricing tab. Missing apps are free.

### Use it from code

```bash
curl -X POST "https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/dariandanciu~google-play-scraper-all-in-one/run-sync-get-dataset-items?token=<YOUR_TOKEN>" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"mode":"reviews","apps":["com.duolingo"],"maxReviewsPerApp":500,"maxScore":2}'
```

### Good to know

- Google Play shows reviews per country and language; set both to match the market you study.
- Search returns at most 250 apps per term.
- Developer names must match Google Play exactly ("Spotify AB", not "Spotify").
