## Pricing

from $0.80 / 1,000 jobs

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## SEEK Jobs Scraper - Australia & New Zealand

Scrape **job listings from SEEK Australia and SEEK New Zealand**: title, company, location, salary, work type, remote/hybrid, category and posting date. Turn on one switch to add the **full job description**.

### Why this one

- **Bulk searches.** Run many keywords in one go; duplicates across searches are removed.
- **Salary as numbers.** SEEK shows salary as text ("$95,000 – $105,000 per year"); you also get `salaryMin`, `salaryMax` and `salaryPeriod`.
- **Real filters.** Location, posted within N days, work type, and on-site/hybrid/remote.
- **Fast and light.** Uses SEEK's own search API, 100 jobs per request. No browser.
- **You only pay for jobs.** Failed searches are listed in `RUN_SUMMARY` and cost nothing.

### Input

| Field | Example |
|---|---|
| Searches | `software engineer`, `registered nurse` |
| Country | Australia or New Zealand |
| Location | `Sydney NSW`, `Melbourne`, `Auckland` |
| Sort by | Relevance or newest |
| Posted within (days) | `7` |
| Work type / arrangement | Full time, contract... / remote, hybrid |
| Include full job description | on/off |

Every field is optional except **Searches**.

### Output

One row per job. Example:

```json
{
    "source": "seek",
    "country": "AU",
    "id": "95568355",
    "title": "Telehealth Nurse (RN or EN)",
    "company": "Reorg Solutions",
    "location": "Sydney NSW",
    "workType": "Casual/Vacation",
    "workArrangement": null,
    "salary": "$45 per hour",
    "salaryMin": 45,
    "salaryMax": 45,
    "salaryPeriod": "hour",
    "salaryCurrency": "AUD",
    "category": "Healthcare & Medical",
    "subCategory": "Nursing - General Medical & Surgical",
    "teaser": "Seeking a Registered Nurse for a remote telehealth casual role at $45/hr, with flexible hours.",
    "bulletPoints": null,
    "postedAt": "2026-10-29T02:19:03.000Z",
    "isFeatured": false,
    "url": "https://www.seek.com.au/job/95568355",
    "companyUrl": null,
    "searchQuery": "software engineer"
}
```

Each row also has `searchQuery`: the search that found it. A summary of the run (jobs per search, the site's total
for each search, and any searches that failed) is saved as `RUN_SUMMARY` in the key-value store.

Export to JSON, CSV, Excel or HTML from the Output tab, or use the API.

### Use cases

- **Job market research:** salary ranges and demand by role and city.
- **Recruiting and sales:** find companies hiring for a role, with their SEEK company page.
- **Job alerts:** run daily with "newest first" and "posted within 1 day".

### Pricing

Pay per job. See the Pricing tab. Searches that fail are free.

### Good to know

- SEEK returns at most about 550 jobs per search in Australia and New Zealand. Add a location or split the keyword to go deeper.
- Salary fields are filled only when the advertiser shows a salary. `salaryMin`/`salaryMax` are parsed from the label, in the local currency.
- Looking for Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, Hong Kong or Thailand? Use the [JobStreet & Jobsdb Scraper](https://apify.com/dariandanciu/jobstreet-jobsdb-scraper).
- This Actor reads public pages only. It does not log in and does not collect personal data about job seekers or shoppers.
