## Pricing

from $0.55 / 1,000 posts

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Telegram Channel Scraper - Posts, Views & Reactions, No Login

Scrape **posts from public Telegram channels**, no account or API key needed: **text, date, views, reactions**, links, hashtags, photos, videos, forwards and link previews, with the channel's **title and subscriber count** on every row.

### Why this one

- **No login, no API key.** Reads the public web preview Telegram itself serves at t.me/s/<channel>.
- **Many channels in one run**, newest posts first, back as far as you need.
- **Views and reactions as numbers** ("1.88M" becomes `1880000`).
- **Date limit and in-channel search** so you only pay for the posts you want.
- **You only pay for posts.** Channels that don't exist or aren't public are listed in `RUN_SUMMARY` and cost nothing.

### Input

| Field | Example |
|---|---|
| Channels | `durov`, `@telegram`, `https://t.me/s/bbcnews` |
| Max posts per channel | `100` |
| Posted after | `2026-10-01` |
| Search inside channels | `bitcoin` |

Every field is optional except **Channels**.

### Output

One row per post. Example:

```json
{
    "source": "telegram",
    "id": "telegram/460",
    "channel": "telegram",
    "postId": 460,
    "channelTitle": "Telegram News",
    "channelSubscribers": 9200000,
    "channelVerified": true,
    "channelDescription": "The official Telegram on Telegram. Much recursion. Very Telegram. Wow.",
    "date": "2026-08-26T19:12:34.000Z",
    "edited": false,
    "text": "For all the info from today's update and a look back at 13 years of Telegram features — check out our blog:\nhttps://telegram.org/blog/welcome-messages-buttons-TG-13\n\nAugust Features\n1 • 2 • 3 • 4 • 5 • More",
    "views": 2280000,
    "reactions": null,
    "reactionsTotal": null,
    "hashtags": [],
    "links": [
        "https://telegram.org/blog/welcome-messages-buttons-TG-13",
        "https://t.me/telegram/455",
        "https://t.me/telegram/456",
        "https://t.me/telegram/457",
        "https://t.me/telegram/458",
        "https://t.me/telegram/459"
    ],
    "photos": [],
    "video": null,
    "videoDuration": null,
    "hasDocument": false,
    "linkPreview": "https://telegram.org/blog/welcome-messages-buttons-TG-13",
    "forwardedFrom": null,
    "forwardedFromUrl": null,
    "url": "https://t.me/telegram/460",
    "searchQuery": "durov"
}
```

Each row also has `searchQuery`: the search that found it. A summary of the run (posts per search, the site's total
for each search, and any searches that failed) is saved as `RUN_SUMMARY` in the key-value store.

Export to JSON, CSV, Excel or HTML from the Output tab, or use the API.

### Use cases

- **News and crypto monitoring** across many channels.
- **Brand and competitor tracking:** what channels post about you, and how it performs.
- **Research datasets** of public channel posts with engagement.

### Pricing

Pay per post. See the Pricing tab. Searches that fail are free.

### Good to know

- Only public channels with a web preview can be read; private channels, groups and member lists cannot (and are not collected).
- Custom (premium) emoji reactions have no character; they come back as `custom` with their count.
- Photo and video links are Telegram CDN links and may expire after a while; download soon after the run if you need the files.
- This Actor reads public channel posts only. It does not log in, and it does not collect channel members, comments or private messages.
