## Pricing

from $8.00 / 1,000 subjects

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## Review Scraper & Monitor - 11 Review Sources

Scrape reviews from eleven public sources into one schema, then run it again and get a diff: what is new, what is negative, and how the rating mix moved.

### What data do I get?

One dataset record per review, plus a `REVIEW_SIGNALS` summary per subject.

| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| `subject` | `play:com.whatsapp`, `plugin:woocommerce`, `steam:730` |
| `source` | appstore, play, steam, wordpress, theme, chrome, trustradius, reviewsio, feefo, sitejabber, resellerratings |
| `rating` | 1-5, normalised (TrustRadius 0-10 is rescaled) |
| `title` / `text` | clean, HTML stripped |
| `author` | reviewer handle as published |
| `publishedAt` | ISO timestamp where the source exposes one |
| `version` | app or extension version, when available |
| `reviewId` | stable id, so the diff never double-counts |

The signal adds `averageRating`, `ratingDistribution`, `negativeShare`, `newSinceLastRun`, `newNegativeSinceLastRun` and `isFirstRun`.

### How much does it cost?

Pay per event: **$10 per 1,000 subjects scanned** ($0.01 each). Reviews are unlimited - a plugin with 20 reviews and one with 2,000 cost the same. Subjects that fail are **not charged**.

| You monitor | Runs | Monthly cost |
|---|---|---|
| 5 apps, weekly | 22 | **$0.22** |
| 20 apps, daily | 600 | **$6.00** |
| 50 subjects, daily | 1,500 | **$15.00** |

### How do I use it?

1. [Create](https://console.apify.com/sign-up) a free Apify account.
2. Open **Review Scraper & Monitor** in Apify Console.
3. Fill in whichever source arrays you need - they are independent.
4. Run once as a baseline, then schedule it and read the diff.
5. Optionally set `webhookUrl` and `alertOnNegativeOnly` for alerts.

### Input

| Field | For |
|---|---|
| `apps` | App Store IDs, or `{"id": "389801252", "country": "gb"}` |
| `playApps` | Google Play package names |
| `steamApps` | Steam app IDs |
| `plugins` | WordPress plugin slugs |
| `themes` | WordPress theme slugs |
| `chromeExtensions` | Chrome Web Store extension IDs |
| `trustradiusProducts` | TrustRadius product slugs |
| `reviewsIoStores` | Reviews.io store slugs |
| `feefoMerchants` | Feefo merchant slugs |
| `sitejabberDomains` | Domains on Sitejabber / SmartCustomer |
| `resellerRatingsStores` | ResellerRatings store slugs |
| `maxReviewsPerSource` | Recent reviews per subject (default 100) |
| `alertOnNegativeOnly` | Only alert on new 1-2 star reviews |
| `webhookUrl` / `webhookSecret` | Where to POST changes, and the signing key |

```json
{
  "playApps": ["com.whatsapp"],
  "apps": ["389801252"],
  "plugins": ["woocommerce"],
  "maxReviewsPerSource": 100,
  "alertOnNegativeOnly": true,
  "webhookUrl": "https://hooks.slack.com/services/..."
}
```

### Output

```json
{
  "source": "play",
  "subject": "play:com.whatsapp",
  "reviewId": "gp:AOqpTO...",
  "rating": 4,
  "title": "Great for staying in touch",
  "text": "Works well, calls are clear...",
  "author": "A Google user",
  "version": "2.24.10.12",
  "publishedAt": "2026-11-04T09:12:00+00:00",
  "url": "https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.whatsapp"
}
```

### Notes and exceptions

- **The first run is a baseline.** Diffs start from the second run.
- **Only recent reviews are collected.** This is a monitor, not an archive - raise `maxReviewsPerSource` for more depth.
- **Steam has no stars.** "Recommended" is stored as 5, "Not Recommended" as 1, with the verdict in `title`.
- **TrustRadius and Feefo can answer 403 from datacenter IPs.** The proxy input fixes that; other sources need no proxy.
- **Trustpilot, G2, Capterra, Etsy and Walmart are not supported** - they sit behind bot protection that refuses every unauthenticated client.

### What can I do with the data?

**Watch your own reputation.** Point it at your apps and plugins, run it daily with `alertOnNegativeOnly`, and hear about the one-star reviews while you can still reply.

**Watch your competitors.** Point it at the three apps you lose deals to. The one-star reviews are a free roadmap: crashes, pricing complaints, missing features.

**Feed a support workflow.** `newNegativeSinceLastRun` is the number to route to a human.

### FAQ

**Do I need API keys?** No. All eleven sources are read unauthenticated from public pages and feeds.

**Can I mix sources in one run?** Yes - each array is independent, and each subject is charged once.

**What happens when a source breaks?** That subject is reported as failed, previous state is kept, and it is not charged.

# Actor input Schema

## `apps` (type: `array`):

Apple app IDs, e.g. 389801252. The ID is the number in the App Store URL after 'id'. Optionally use {"id": "389801252", "country": "gb"} to read a different storefront.

## `plugins` (type: `array`):

WordPress.org plugin slugs, e.g. woocommerce, contact-form-7. The slug is the last part of wordpress.org/plugins/<slug>/.

## `reviewsIoStores` (type: `array`):

Reviews.io store slugs, e.g. onbuy.com. The slug is the last part of reviews.io/company-reviews/store/<slug>.

## `feefoMerchants` (type: `array`):

Feefo merchant slugs, e.g. example-retail-merchant (feefo.com/en-GB/reviews/<slug>).

## `sitejabberDomains` (type: `array`):

Domains to read on Sitejabber (now redirecting to smartcustomer.com), e.g. amazon.com.

## `resellerRatingsStores` (type: `array`):

ResellerRatings store slugs, e.g. Newegg (resellerratings.com/store/<slug>).

## `trustradiusProducts` (type: `array`):

TrustRadius product slugs, e.g. asana. The slug is the last part of trustradius.com/products/<slug>/reviews.

## `chromeExtensions` (type: `array`):

Chrome Web Store extension IDs (32 letters). The ID is the long code in chromewebstore.google.com/detail/<name>/<id>.

## `steamApps` (type: `array`):

Steam app IDs, e.g. 730. The ID is the number in store.steampowered.com/app/<id>/.

## `playApps` (type: `array`):

Android package names, e.g. com.whatsapp. The package is the id parameter in the Play Store URL.

## `themes` (type: `array`):

WordPress.org theme slugs, e.g. twentytwentyfour. The slug is the last part of wordpress.org/themes/<slug>/.

## `maxReviewsPerSource` (type: `integer`):

How many of the most recent reviews to collect for each app or plugin.

## `alertOnNegativeOnly` (type: `boolean`):

When on, the webhook fires only if a review with 1-2 stars is new since the last run.

## `webhookUrl` (type: `string`):

If set, a JSON digest is POSTed whenever new reviews appear since the previous run. Must be https; private and loopback addresses are refused.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Leave empty by default - most sources are public and free to reach. Enable residential proxies only if TrustRadius or Feefo fail from your IP; the proxy then applies to every source in the run.

## `webhookSecret` (type: `string`):

When set, requests carry X-Signature-256: sha256=HMAC(secret, raw body), so your endpoint can verify the payload.

## `concurrency` (type: `integer`):

How many apps or plugins to query at once.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "plugins": [
    "woocommerce"
  ],
# Actor output Schema
## `reviews` (type: `string`):
One record per review: subject, source, rating, title, text, author, version, published date.
## `signals` (type: `string`):
Per subject: reviews collected, average rating, 1-5 distribution, negative share, and how many reviews are new or newly negative since the last run.
