## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## France Fuel Prices: every station, live

Get the **current fuel prices of every petrol station in France** in one clean table: Gazole (diesel), SP95, SP98, E10, E85 and GPLc. Data comes from the **official prix-carburants feed** published by the French Ministry of the Economy, refreshed about every 10 minutes.

### What you can do

- **Find the cheapest fuel near an address**: type "Place Bellecour, Lyon" and a radius; stations come back nearest first, with distance in km.
- **Watch an area**: postcodes, cities, departments (75, 69, 2A, 974...) or all of France (about 10,000 stations).
- **Track your own list of stations** by their official id.
- **Price alerts**: turn on `onlyPriceChanges` and schedule the Actor. Each run returns only the stations whose prices changed since the last run, with the previous prices. You pay only for what changed.
- **Market statistics**: the run summary gives min, median, mean and max per fuel for your area.

### Output (one row per station)

| Field | Example |
|---|---|
| stationId | 75015025 |
| address, postcode, city | 34 BOULEVARD DE GRENELLE, 75015, Paris |
| latitude, longitude, distanceKm | 48.852, 2.29, 0.9 |
| gazolePrice, e10Price, sp95Price, sp98Price, e85Price, gplcPrice | 2.249 (EUR per litre) |
| gazoleUpdatedAt ... | 2026-10-28T08:12:00 (local Paris time) |
| gazoleStale ... | true when the price is older than `maxPriceAgeDays` |
| gazoleRank, gazoleAboveCheapest ... | 1, 0.000 (for the fuels you chose) |
| temporaryShortages, availableFuels | \["E85"], \["Gazole", "E10"] |
| roadType, open24h, services | road, true, \["Lavage automatique", ...] |
| openingHours | optional |
| source, sourceLicence, sourceDataDate | official source, licence and feed date on every row |

The last row is a **run summary** with counts and price statistics.

### Example input

```json
{
  "nearAddress": "Place Bellecour, Lyon",
  "radiusKm": 5,
  "fuels": ["Gazole", "E10"],
  "maxItems": 50
}
```

Price alert for a list of stations, scheduled every hour:

```json
{
  "stationIds": ["75015025", "69002006"],
  "onlyPriceChanges": true,
  "stateStoreName": "my-stations"
}
```

### Pricing

**$0.002 per station delivered** ($2 per 1,000 stations). Stations filtered out, unchanged stations in alert mode and the summary row are free. Set `maxItems` to cap the cost of a run.

### Use cases

Fleet and delivery companies, fuel cards, route planners, comparison apps, journalists and price analysts, retailers watching nearby competitors.

### Source and licence

Data: "Prix des carburants en France - flux instantané v2", Ministère de l'Économie (prix-carburants.gouv.fr), via data.economie.gouv.fr, under the **Licence Ouverte / Open Licence v2.0 (Etalab)**, which allows free and commercial reuse with attribution. Every row cites the source and the date of the feed. Address search uses the Géoplateforme geocoder (IGN, Base Adresse Nationale). This Actor is not affiliated with or endorsed by the French administration. Prices are published by the stations themselves; check `UpdatedAt` and `Stale` before relying on a price.

### FAQ

**How fresh are prices?** The official feed is refreshed about every 10 minutes; each price carries its own update time.

**Does it include brand names?** The official feed does not publish brands, only the station id, address and prices.

**Why is a fuel null?** The station does not sell it, is out of stock, or has not published a price.

# Actor input Schema

## `nearAddress` (type: `string`):

Any French address, place or city, e.g. "Place Bellecour, Lyon". Stations within the radius are returned, nearest first.

## `radiusKm` (type: `integer`):

Search radius around the address or the coordinates.

## `latitude` (type: `string`):

Optional instead of an address, e.g. 45.7576.

## `longitude` (type: `string`):

Optional instead of an address, e.g. 4.8317.

## `postcodes` (type: `array`):

5-digit French postcodes, e.g. 75015.

## `cities` (type: `array`):

City names (accents and case ignored). Best combined with a department to stay fast.

## `departments` (type: `array`):

Department codes such as 75, 69, 2A or 974.

## `stationIds` (type: `array`):

Track specific stations by their official id (stationId in the output).

## `allFrance` (type: `boolean`):

Return every station in France (about 10,000) when no area is set.

## `fuels` (type: `array`):

Gazole (diesel), SP95, SP98, E10, E85, GPLc. Empty means all fuels.

## `onlyAvailable` (type: `boolean`):

Skip stations with no current price for any of the chosen fuels.

## `maxPriceAgeDays` (type: `integer`):

Prices older than this are flagged as stale and left out of rankings and statistics. 0 disables the check.

## `sortBy` (type: `string`):

"distance" or a fuel name (cheapest first). Default: distance for address searches, otherwise the first chosen fuel.

## `onlyPriceChanges` (type: `boolean`):

Price alert mode for scheduled runs: skip stations whose prices are the same as in the previous run with the same state store. Previous prices are included.

## `stateStoreName` (type: `string`):

Named key-value store that remembers prices for the alert mode. Use one name per watch list.

## `includeOpeningHours` (type: `boolean`):

Add the weekly opening hours of each station.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many stations. This caps the cost of a run.
