## Pricing

from $0.24 / 1,000 reviews

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## App Store & Google Play Reviews Scraper: Download App Reviews to CSV/JSON (Multi-Country)

**App reviews scraper** for iOS and Android · **extraer reseñas de apps** de App Store y Google Play · **extrair avaliações de apps** da App Store e Google Play.

Scrape **app reviews from the Apple App Store and Google Play in a single run**, across as many countries as you need. Paste an App Store ID or URL, a Google Play package name or URL, or simply **an app name**, and get clean, unified review data ready for sentiment analysis, product research, ASO and competitor monitoring.

### What does this App Reviews Scraper do?

- ✅ **Both stores, one schema**: iOS and Android reviews in the same JSON/CSV/Excel format.
- 🌍 **Multi-country**: scrape `us`, `gb`, `de`, `br`, `mx`, `ec`... in one run.
- 🔎 **Search by app name**: "Duolingo" is resolved to the right App Store and Google Play apps.
- ⭐ Filter by **rating** (e.g. only 1–2 star reviews), by **date window** (`dateFrom`/`dateTo`, strictly applied) and by **app version** (`appVersions`, e.g. `2.26`).
- 📱 **App version on every review** (`appVersion`) on both stores, so you can see which release caused complaints.
- 📄 **Deep pagination on Google Play**: thousands of reviews per app and country, with retries and no page cap.
- 💬 Includes **developer replies**, app version, helpful votes and review URL (Google Play).
- ⚡ Fast and cheap: no browser, no login, no proxies required.

### Input example

```json
{
  "apps": ["com.whatsapp", "310633997", "Duolingo"],
  "countries": ["us", "br", "ec"],
  "language": "es",
  "maxReviewsPerAppCountry": 200,
  "maxResults": 1000,
  "dateFrom": "2026-09-01",
  "dateTo": "2026-09-30",
  "minRating": 1,
  "maxRating": 2
}
```

### Output example

```json
{
  "store": "googleplay",
  "appId": "com.whatsapp",
  "country": "ec",
  "rating": 1,
  "title": null,
  "text": "...",
  "userName": "Johanjose Castro",
}
```

### Our guarantees

- 💸 **Spending limit respected**: set *Max cost per run* in Apify (or `maxResults`) and the run stops cleanly at that limit. We never charge past it.
- 📅 **Date filters respected**: every item is checked against your date window. Nothing outside it is returned or charged.
- 🚫 **No hidden caps**: we fetch every page available. The only limits are the ones the source itself publishes, and they are listed below.
- 🆓 **No charge when there are no results**: if a run finds 0 items, you pay nothing (not even the start fee).
- 🔁 **Deduplicated output**: the same item is never returned (or charged) twice in a run.

### How much does it cost to scrape app reviews?

Pay-per-event: **$0.30 per 1,000 reviews** plus $0.005 per run. 10,000 reviews cost about $3. You pay only for reviews saved, and the $0.005 start fee is charged only if at least one review is found.

### Limits (all of them)

- The App Store public feed returns up to **500 most recent reviews per app per country**. Add more countries for more coverage.
- Google Play has no hard cap; large pulls (50k+) take longer.

### Use cases

Sentiment analysis and LLM summaries · competitor app monitoring · ASO keyword research · bug and feature-request mining · customer-support dashboards.

### FAQ

**Is scraping app reviews legal?** Reviews are public data. Do not collect personal data beyond what you need and follow the GDPR and other rules that apply to you.
**Can I use it from an API or AI agents?** Yes: through the Apify API, integrations (Make, Zapier, n8n) and the Apify MCP server.
**Found a bug or need a field?** Open an issue on the Issues tab. We usually reply within 48h.

### Use with AI agents (MCP)

This Actor works as a tool for AI agents through the [Apify MCP server](https://mcp.apify.com). Add it to Claude (Desktop/Code), ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code or any MCP client with this URL:

`https://mcp.apify.com/?tools=datadesk-io/app-store-google-play-reviews-scraper`

Sign in with your Apify account (OAuth) or pass your API token. The agent sees the input schema, runs the Actor and reads the dataset; every input field is optional and every output field is documented.

**What goes in → what comes out:** Input: app names, App Store IDs, Google Play package names or store URLs (+ countries, date filter). Output: one JSON row per review with rating, title, text, app version, date, developer reply and URL. Both stores, multi-country, CSV/Excel/JSON.

**Example prompt:**

> Get the 200 most recent 1-star reviews of Duolingo on the US App Store and Google Play and summarize the top complaints.
