## Pricing

Pay per event

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Brazil Jobs Scraper: Catho, Gupy & Vagas.com.br (Vagas de Emprego)

Scrape Brazilian job listings from **Catho (catho.com.br), Gupy (portal.gupy.io) and Vagas.com.br** in one run: title, company, **salary in BRL** (monthly and yearly), **city and state (UF)**, **remote / hybrid / on-site**, **contract type (CLT, PJ, estágio, temporário)**, posting date, application deadline and job URL. No login, no browser, no proxy setup.

### What you can do / O que dá para fazer

- Daily job alerts for a role and state (e.g. *desenvolvedor* in SP) / alertas diários de vagas novas
- Salary benchmarks in BRL by role and city (Catho publishes salaries) / pesquisa salarial
- CLT vs PJ and remote vs on-site analysis / análise CLT x PJ e remoto x presencial
- Lead lists of companies hiring in Brazil right now / lista de empresas contratando

### Sources and coverage

| Source | Coverage | Data |
|---|---|---|
| **Catho** | Brazil (all states) | title, company, city, salary, contract type, full description (details on) |
| **Gupy** | Brazil (company career pages on Gupy) | title, company, city, workplace type, PcD flag, deadline |
| **Vagas.com.br** | Brazil | title, company, city, level, snippet, date |

### How to use it

1. Click **Try for free** (or **Start**): the prefilled input runs a quick test.
2. Fill in the input fields (see the examples below). Every field is optional.
3. Click **Start** and wait a few seconds to minutes, depending on how many jobs you ask for.
4. Open the **Output** tab and export as **JSON, CSV, Excel, XML or HTML**, or read the results via API.

### Input examples

```json
{"keywords": ["analista de dados"], "state": "SP", "workplaceTypes": ["remote", "hybrid"], "maxJobsPerSearch": 100}
```

**Alertas diários (só vagas novas):**

```json
{"keywords": ["vendedor", "motorista"], "postedWithinDays": 1, "onlyNewJobs": true, "alertsKey": "vendas-br"}
```

```
#### Input fields
| Field | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| `keywords` | array | Job titles or skills, e.g. desenvolvedor, vendedor, analista financeiro. One search per keyword and site. |
| `sources` | array | Job boards to search: Catho, Gupy and/or Vagas.com.br. Each keyword is searched on every selected board. Empty = all three. |
| `state` | string | Two-letter state, e.g. SP, RJ, MG. Empty = all Brazil. Remote jobs are always kept. |
| `city` | string | e.g. São Paulo, Campinas. Works best together with the state (UF). |
| `contractTypes` | array | Only jobs with these contract types (CLT, PJ, estágio, temporário...). Leave empty to get every contract type. |
| `maxJobsPerSearch` | integer | Cap per keyword and site. Gupy returns up to 100 per search. You only pay for jobs saved. |
| `cathoDetails` | boolean | Opens each Catho job page to read CLT/PJ, state and an exact date. Slower; turn off for speed. |
| `postedWithinDays` | integer | Only jobs posted in the last N days. 0 = any date. |
| `onlyNewJobs` | boolean | Remember jobs from earlier runs and save only jobs you have not received before. Schedule daily for an alert feed. You pay only for new jobs. |
| `alertsKey` | string | Separate memory per alert (e.g. "dev-sp"). |
### Integrations and API
- Export results as JSON, CSV, Excel, XML or HTML from the Output tab.
- **Schedule** runs (daily, hourly) and send results to Google Sheets, Slack, Zapier, Make, n8n, Airbyte or webhooks.
- Call it from code with the [Apify API](https://docs.apify.com/api/v2):
```bash
curl -X POST "https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/datadesk-io~brazil-jobs-scraper/run-sync-get-dataset-items?token=YOUR_TOKEN" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"keywords": ["desenvolvedor"], "sources": ["catho", "gupy", "vagas"], "maxJobsPerSearch": 20}'
```
```python
from apify_client import ApifyClient
client = ApifyClient("YOUR_TOKEN")
run = client.actor("datadesk-io/brazil-jobs-scraper").call(run_input={'keywords': ['desenvolvedor'], 'sources': ['catho', 'gupy', 'vagas'], 'maxJobsPerSearch': 20})
for item in client.dataset(run["defaultDatasetId"]).iterate_items():
    print(item.get('title'), item.get('company'), item.get('url'))
```
### FAQ
**Do I need a login, API key or proxies?** No. It uses publicly available data only, so no account on the source site is needed.
**How fresh is the data?** Live: every run reads the source at that moment. Schedule it to keep a dataset up to date.
**Why did I get fewer jobs than the maximum?** The source had fewer matching jobs, or duplicates were removed. You only pay for jobs delivered.
**Is it legal?** It collects only publicly available data. You are responsible for using it in line with applicable laws (e.g. GDPR) and the source's terms.
### Limitations
- Gupy's public portal returns at most 100 jobs per search; add a state or city to get more distinct jobs.
- Salaries come only from Catho (Gupy and Vagas.com.br listings don't publish them). "A combinar" → `salaryNegotiable: true`.
- Catho cards don't carry remote/hybrid; a workplace filter keeps only Gupy and Vagas rows.
- InfoJobs Brasil is **not** included (it blocks automated access).
