## Pricing

from $1.60 / 1,000 tenders

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Chile Public Tenders Scraper: Mercado Público / ChileCompra

Scrape **Chilean government tenders (licitaciones)** from the official **Mercado Público / ChileCompra API**. Every tender comes with **code, title, status, closing date, buyer org, optional description and estimated amount**. No login, no proxies. **$2 per 1,000 tenders.**

### Sources and coverage

| Source | Coverage | Data |
|---|---|---|
| **Mercado Público API** | All public tenders published on ChileCompra | CodigoExterno, name, status, closing date; optional full detail (buyer, description, items) |

### How to use it

1. Click **Try for free**: prefilled input pulls a recent day (capped at 20).
2. Set `daysBack` or a specific `date` (YYYY-MM-DD).
3. Optionally filter by keyword in the title and enable detail fetch.
4. Export from Output or via API.

### Input examples

**Yesterday's tenders (default-style):**

```json
{"daysBack": 1, "maxTenders": 20}
```

**Keyword filter + details:**

```json
{"daysBack": 3, "keywords": ["software", "consultoria"], "fetchDetails": true, "maxTenders": 50}
```

**Alerts for new published tenders:**

```json
{"daysBack": 1, "onlyNewTenders": true, "alertsKey": "cl-tenders-daily"}
```

### Pricing

**$0.005** per run start + **$0.002** per tender ($2 / 1,000).

### Limitations

- The public demo API ticket is rate-limited; for heavy use provide your own `apiTicket` from Mercado Público.
- Simultaneous requests are rejected by the API — the Actor calls sequentially.
- Status codes follow ChileCompra's catalog (5=Publicada, 8=Adjudicada, …).

# Actor input Schema

## `daysBack` (type: `integer`):

How many calendar days of publications to pull (Chile local date). Ignored if date is set.

## `date` (type: `string`):

Optional single day as YYYY-MM-DD or ddmmYYYY. When set, only that day is fetched.

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

Keep tenders whose title contains any of these words (case-insensitive). Empty = all.

## `statusCode` (type: `integer`):

Optional ChileCompra status code, e.g. 5=Publicada, 8=Adjudicada. Empty = all.

## `fetchDetails` (type: `boolean`):

Call the detail endpoint for buyer, description and items. Slower; recommended for lead enrichment.

## `apiTicket` (type: `string`):

Your Mercado Público API ticket. Leave empty to use the public demo ticket (rate-limited).

## `maxTenders` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many tenders.

## `onlyNewTenders` (type: `boolean`):

Return only tenders not seen in previous runs. Schedule daily for alerts.

## `alertsKey` (type: `string`):

Name for this alert's memory (e.g. cl-software).
