## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Company Careers Jobs Scraper: Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, SmartRecruiters, Recruitee

Get every open job from any company's careers page as clean, structured data, from **six applicant-tracking systems in one run and one schema**. Paste careers-page links; get titles, departments, locations, remote status, salary ranges (where the company publishes them), posting dates and full descriptions.

### What you can use it for

- **Job boards and aggregators:** keep a niche job board filled with fresh roles straight from company career pages.
- **Recruiting and sales intelligence:** see which companies are hiring, for which teams, and where.
- **Market and salary research:** compare openings and published pay ranges across companies.
- **Job alerts:** schedule a daily run with "posted within the last 1 day" and send yourself only new roles.
- **AI agents and RAG:** feed current, structured job data to your agent or search index.

### Supported career sites

| Provider | Example careers link |
|---|---|
| Greenhouse | `https://boards.greenhouse.io/airbnb` |
| Lever | `https://jobs.lever.co/palantir` |
| Ashby | `https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp` |
| Workable | `https://apply.workable.com/huggingface` |
| SmartRecruiters | `https://jobs.smartrecruiters.com/BoschGroup` |
| Recruitee | `https://bunq.recruitee.com` |

You can also write `provider:slug`, for example `greenhouse:airbnb`. Mix providers freely in one run. A company without a public board is skipped with a note, and the run carries on.

### Sample output

```json
{
  "provider": "ashby",
  "company": "ramp",
  "jobId": "34413f8d-26bf-4bbc-8ade-eb309a0e2245",
  "title": "Security Engineer, Cloud",
  "department": "Engineering",
  "team": "Backend",
  "location": "New York, NY (HQ)",
  "country": "USA",
  "remote": true,
  "workplaceType": "Hybrid",
  "employmentType": "FullTime",
  "salaryMin": 211400,
  "salaryMax": 290600,
  "salaryCurrency": "USD",
  "salaryPeriod": "1 YEAR",
  "postedAt": "2026-04-07T17:12:35.753Z",
  "url": "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp/34413f8d-26bf-4bbc-8ade-eb309a0e2245",
  "applyUrl": "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp/34413f8d-26bf-4bbc-8ade-eb309a0e2245/application",
  "description": "ABOUT RAMP\n\nRamp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams...",
  "scrapedAt": "2026-10-24T00:06:48.363Z"
}
```

Every job has the same fields whatever the provider. A field is `null` when the company does not publish it; for example, salary appears only where the company shows it.

### Filters

- **Job title keywords:** for example `engineer`, `product manager`.
- **Location keywords:** for example `London`, `Germany`, `remote`.
- **Remote jobs only.**
- **Posted within the last N days:** ideal for scheduled daily or weekly runs.
- **Maximum jobs per company** and **maximum results** for the whole run.
- **Include full description:** turn this off for smaller, faster results.

### Pricing

**$1.50 per 1,000 jobs** saved, plus a tiny per-run start fee. Filters are applied before anything is saved, so you pay only for jobs you keep. You can set a spending limit for each run; the run stops cleanly when it is reached.

### How it works

The Actor reads each provider's public job-posting feed, the same data the company publishes on its own careers page. It does not log in, does not use any personal accounts, and does not collect personal data about applicants or recruiters. That makes it fast (usually seconds per company) and very reliable.

### Tips

- Find a company's careers link by opening their "Careers" or "Jobs" page and clicking any role: the address shows the provider, for example `jobs.lever.co/<company>`.
- To track new roles, schedule the Actor daily with **Posted within the last N days = 1**, and use Apify integrations to send results to Google Sheets, Slack or a webhook.
