## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Company Jobs Scraper: Greenhouse, Lever & Ashby

Get **every open job** from any company that hires through **Greenhouse, Lever or Ashby**, the job boards used by thousands of companies including Airbnb, Stripe, OpenAI, Notion, Ramp and Palantir.

- **Just type company names:** `Stripe`, `stripe.com` or a careers URL all work. The right job board is detected automatically.
- **One clean format** for every board: title, department, team, locations, remote, employment type, salary range, dates, apply link and full description.
- **Salary data** whenever the company publishes it (common on Ashby and Lever).
- **Filters:** title keywords, excluded words, locations, departments, remote only, posted within N days.
- **"Only new jobs" mode:** schedule it daily and get just the jobs added since the last run. It's ideal for alerts, job sites and sales signals.
- **Official APIs:** uses the public job board APIs these vendors publish for exactly this purpose. No logins, no proxies, so it's fast and reliable.

### Who uses this

- **Job boards and aggregators:** keep listings fresh from hundreds of companies.
- **Recruiters and job seekers:** monitor target companies for new roles.
- **Sales and market research:** hiring is a buying signal. See which companies are growing which teams.
- **Analysts:** salary benchmarks, hiring trends and location strategy.

### Input example

```json
{
  "companies": ["Stripe", "openai", "jobs.lever.co/palantir", "https://boards.greenhouse.io/airbnb"],
  "keywords": ["engineer"],
  "locations": ["London", "Remote"],
  "postedWithinDays": 30,
  "onlyNewJobs": false
}
```

### Output example

```json
{
  "ats": "ashby",
  "companyName": "openai",
  "title": "Software Engineer, Data Infrastructure",
  "department": "Applied AI",
  "location": "San Francisco",
  "locations": ["San Francisco"],
  "remote": null,
  "employmentType": "FullTime",
  "salaryMin": 266000,
  "salaryMax": 445000,
  "salaryCurrency": "USD",
  "salaryInterval": "1 YEAR",
  "salaryText": "$266K – $445K • Offers Equity",
  "url": "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/openai/…",
  "publishedAt": "2026-04-05T00:03:20.653+00:00",
  "description": "About the team…"
}
```

A per-company **summary** (which job board was found and how many jobs) is saved to the run's key-value store as `SUMMARY`.

### Pricing

**$0.001 per job delivered** ($1 per 1,000 jobs). Filtered-out jobs and companies without a job board are never charged. With "Only new jobs", daily monitoring costs only for the new postings.

### Tips

- If a company isn't found by name, paste its careers page URL or job board link.
- Companies on Workday, iCIMS, SmartRecruiters and other systems aren't supported yet.
- Turn off **Include job descriptions** for much smaller exports.

### FAQ

**Is this allowed?** Yes. Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby publish these job board APIs so companies' open roles can be shown and shared publicly. The actor reads only public job postings.

# Actor input Schema

## `companies` (type: `array`):

Company names (Stripe), websites (stripe.com) or job board URLs (boards.greenhouse.io/airbnb, jobs.lever.co/palantir, jobs.ashbyhq.com/openai). The job board is detected automatically.

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

Only keep jobs whose title contains any of these words, e.g. engineer, sales, designer. Leave empty for all jobs.

## `excludeKeywords` (type: `array`):

Drop jobs whose title contains any of these, e.g. intern, senior.

## `locations` (type: `array`):

Only keep jobs in any of these places (matched as text), e.g. London, Remote, Germany.

## `departments` (type: `array`):

Only keep jobs in these departments or teams, e.g. Engineering, Marketing.

## `remoteOnly` (type: `boolean`):

Keep only jobs marked remote or with 'remote' in the location.

## `onlyNewJobs` (type: `boolean`):

For scheduled monitoring: returns only jobs not seen in previous runs with the same company list (or the same state key). The first run returns everything.

## `stateKey` (type: `string`):

Name for the 'new jobs' memory. Use the same key across runs to share it even if the company list changes.

## `includeDescription` (type: `boolean`):

## `maxJobsPerCompany` (type: `integer`):

Cap per company after filters. 0 = no limit.
