## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Shopify Store Products Scraper & Price Monitor

**Get every product from any Shopify store**, with prices, compare-at (sale) prices, all variants and SKUs, stock availability, images, tags, vendor and description. Paste store, collection or product URLs. Turn on **monitor mode** to get only what changed since the last run: **new products, price changes, stock changes and removed products**. It's a simple way to track competitors.

- ✅ **Any public Shopify store**: whole store, one collection, or single products.
- ✅ **Complete product data**: price range, compare-at price, `onSale`, variants (size/color), SKUs, stock, images, tags, vendor, type, dates.
- ✅ **Two layouts**: one row per product (variants nested), or one row per variant for spreadsheets.
- ✅ **Price and stock monitor**: schedule it daily and get only the changes, with `previousPrice` and `priceChange`.
- ✅ **Fast**: 250 products per request, thousands of products in seconds. No browser, no proxies.
- 💲 **$1 per 1,000 items.**

### Use cases

- **Competitor price tracking**: get alerts when a competitor changes prices, runs a sale, or launches a product.
- **Dropshipping and product research**: find what stores sell, at what price, and what's in stock.
- **Catalog migration and feeds**: export a full store catalog to CSV, Excel or JSON.
- **Market research**: compare assortments, price points and discount strategies across brands.

    "storeUrls": ["https://www.allbirds.com", "https://colourpop.com/collections/lips"],
    "outputMode": "products",
    "onlyAvailable": false,
    "monitorMode": "off"
}
```
### Output example (product)
```json
{
    "type": "product",
    "productId": "7654069239890",
    "title": "Sleepy n’ Protective",
    "url": "https://colourpop.com/products/sleepy-n-protective-sparkle-swirl-lip-gloss-duo-bt21",
    "vendor": "ColourPop",

    "price": 14,
    "priceMax": 14,

    "onSale": false,
    "currency": "USD",
    "available": true,
    "variantsCount": 1,
    "variantsAvailable": 1,
    "variants": [{ "variantId": "42704588767314", "title": "Default Title", "sku": "SwirlLipGloss", "price": 14, "available": true }],

    "store": "https://colourpop.com",
    "storeName": "ColourPop",
    "storeCurrency": "USD",
    "storeCountry": "US"
}
```
### Monitor mode
| `changeType` | Meaning |
|---|---|
| `baseline` | First run: every product, saved as the starting point |
| `new` | Product appeared since the last run |
| `price_changed` | Lowest price changed (see `previousPrice`, `priceChange`) |
| `stock_changed` | Product or variant availability changed |
| `price+stock_changed` | Both changed |
| `removed` | Product is no longer in the store |
Set **Monitor mode** to *Changes*, give each monitor its own name, and [schedule](https://docs.apify.com/platform/schedules) the Actor. Send the changes to Slack, email or Google Sheets with Apify integrations.
### Pricing
**$0.001 per item ($1 per 1,000)**. In monitor mode you pay only for changed products, so a daily monitor of a 1,000-product store usually costs a few cents.
### FAQ
**Does it work on every store?** It works on public Shopify stores. A few large stores block automated access or hide their catalog. These show up with an explanation in the `STORES_REPORT` record and are not charged.
# Actor input Schema
## `storeUrls` (type: `array`):
Store domains (allbirds.com), collection URLs (https://store.com/collections/sale) or product URLs. One per line.
## `outputMode` (type: `string`):
Per-variant rows are handy for spreadsheets and price tracking per SKU.
## `keywords` (type: `array`):
Keep only products whose title, vendor, type or tags contain any of these.
## `onlyAvailable` (type: `boolean`):
Skip sold-out products (and sold-out variants in per-variant mode).
## `monitorStateName` (type: `string`):
Use a different name for each separate monitor.
## `maxProductsPerStore` (type: `integer`):
0 = all products.
## `maxConcurrency` (type: `integer`):
How many stores to scrape at once.
