## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Shopify Store Leads Enricher: Contacts, Apps & Catalog

**Shopify Store Leads Enricher** turns a list of store websites into Shopify store leads: it checks whether each website is a Shopify store and returns the store name, location, currency, catalog size, price range, main product types, theme, installed apps and tools, role-based emails, business phone and social media links.

### What can this tool do?

- Check which websites in your list run on Shopify (non-Shopify websites are listed free).
- Enrich Shopify store leads with contact channels: role-based emails (support@, hello@ …), business phone, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, X and LinkedIn.
- Size up each store: number of products and collections, lowest, median and highest price, main product types, and the brands it sells.
- See each store's theme (Dawn, Impulse, custom …) and apps (Klaviyo, Judge.me, Yotpo, Recharge, Rebuy, Afterpay …).
- Find where a store is based (city, region, country) and which countries it ships to.
- Qualify leads for agencies, app developers and suppliers, or track competitors' catalogs over time.

### What data does it return?

One row per website:

| Field | Example |
|---|---|
| `domain` | deathwishcoffee.com |
| `storeName` | Death Wish Coffee |
| `myshopifyDomain` | deathwishcoffee.myshopify.com |
| `city` / `region` / `country` | Round Lake / New York / US |
| `currency` | USD |
| `productCount` / `collectionCount` | 146 / 126 |
| `priceMin` / `priceMedian` / `priceMax` | 5.99 / 29.98 / 90 |
| `productTypes` | Apparel, Coffee, Coffee Bundle, Accessories, Mugs |
| `vendors` | Death Wish Coffee Company, Sportiqe … |
| `newestProductAt` | 2026-09-25T12:48:06.000Z |
| `themeName` | Dawn |
| `technologies` | Afterpay, Apple Pay, Klaviyo, Ordergroove, PayPal, Rebuy, Shopify, Venmo … |
| `emails` | hey@deathwishcoffee.com (role-based emails only) |
| `phones` | (empty here; for allbirds.com: +1 (424) 363-8064) |
| `socialLinks` | instagram.com/deathwishcoffee, facebook.com/deathwishcoffee, x.com/deathwishcoffee, YouTube channel |
| `shipsToCountries` | US, CA, GB … (240 countries for this store) |
| `isShopify` / `error` | true / null |

Also: `shopId`, `description`, `logoUrl`, `themeStoreId`, `shopPayInstallments`, `passwordProtected`, `pagesChecked` (how many of the store's pages were read for contacts and apps), `url`, `input`, `checkedAt`.

The example is real output from a run on 2026-09-28. Headless stores (custom front ends such as SKIMS or Caraway) are supported: store data comes from the Shopify store behind the website, contacts from the website itself.

### How to use it

1. Paste store websites (one per line): `allbirds.com`, any link on the store, or a `myshopify.com` address.
2. Click **Start**.
3. Download the leads as CSV, Excel or JSON, or pull them through the API.

### Pricing

Pay per store: **$3.00 per 1,000 Shopify stores**, plus $0.005 per run. Websites that are not Shopify stores, or that could not be loaded, are listed with the reason and never charged. Set a maximum cost per run in the run options.

### Use it through the API, AI agents, and integrations

Call it from your code with the Apify API, schedule it to track stores over time, or connect it to Make, Zapier, n8n, Google Sheets, HubSpot, or an AI agent through Apify's MCP server.

### Is it legal?

The tool reads the public files every Shopify store publishes (`/meta.json`, `/products.json`) and the store's public home and contact pages, without logging in. It returns business data only:

- Only role-based emails on the store's own domain (support@, info@ …); emails that may belong to a person are dropped.
- Location is the city, region and country the store publishes, not a street address.
- Social links are the store's own brand profiles.

You are responsible for how you use the data, for example when you contact stores (follow anti-spam laws such as CAN-SPAM and GDPR).

### FAQ

**Can it find Shopify stores by keyword?** No. It enriches a list of websites you already have (from a spreadsheet, a directory or another tool). Paste as many as you like; non-Shopify websites cost nothing.

**Why are emails or phones empty for some stores?** Many stores only offer a contact form or chat. The tool returns role-based emails and business phones that the store shows on its home or contact page; it does not guess emails.

**How accurate is it?** On a test set of 22 stores checked by hand (store name, country, currency, price range, theme, emails, phones, Instagram, Facebook), 99.5% of the values were correct. Prices come from up to 250 of the store's products (the lowest variant price of each product, in the store's currency); checkout add-ons such as protection plans, gift cards and test products are left out.

**Why do some big brands show HTTP 403 or 429?** A few large stores block automated visitors with their own bot protection. They are listed with the reason and not charged.

**What does "Shopify store with a custom front end; its public store data is not available" mean?** Rarely, a headless store does not reveal the Shopify store behind it. It is listed free.

# Actor input Schema

## `stores` (type: `array`):

One store per line: a website (allbirds.com), any link on the store, or a myshopify.com address (weareallbirds.myshopify.com). Websites that are not Shopify stores are listed as such and not charged.

## `includeApps` (type: `boolean`):

Also detect the store's apps and tools (email marketing, reviews, subscriptions, analytics, payments …) from its home page with the open-source Wappalyzer fingerprints.

## `maxResults` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many Shopify stores. 0 means no limit.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Optional. Not needed normally: Shopify stores answer cloud servers.

## Actor input object example

```json
  "stores": [
    "allbirds.com",
    "deathwishcoffee.com",
    "graza.co"
