## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Contact Details Scraper: Emails, Phones & Social Profiles from Any Website

Paste a list of websites and get back **every email address, phone number and social media profile** the company publishes. The Actor crawls the homepage plus the contact, about, team and imprint pages, so you get much more than the footer.

- 📧 **Emails**, including obfuscated ones (`name [at] domain`, `mailto:` links, schema.org data)
- 📞 **Phone numbers** from `tel:` links, structured data and page text
- 🔗 **Social profiles**: LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, YouTube, TikTok, GitHub, Pinterest and Crunchbase
- 🏢 **Company info**: name, legal name, logo, address and founding date (from structured data)
- 🧰 **Bonus enrichment at no extra cost**: tech stack (6,500+ technologies, a BuiltWith/Wappalyzer alternative), email provider (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365…) and SaaS tools verified in DNS (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zendesk, Klaviyo…)

**No login, no API keys, no proxies.** Plain HTTP and DNS make it fast: one website usually takes 1–3 seconds.

### Pricing: pay per website, not per lead

You pay **$3 per 1,000 websites**, flat, no matter how many emails, phones or social profiles are found on each site. Many contact scrapers charge **per lead**, so one website with 5 emails and 6 social profiles can cost you 10× or more there.

| Websites | Cost |
|---|---|
| 100 | $0.30 |
| 1,000 | $3 |
| 10,000 | $30 |

**Websites that are unreachable or block automated visitors are free.** They are saved with an `error` field so you can see what happened.

### Who is it for?

- **Cold email and outreach**: turn a list of company websites (from Google Maps, directories or your CRM) into emails and LinkedIn pages.
- **Sales & lead-gen teams** — qualify accounts by technology ("all Shopify stores using Klaviyo"), find contact emails, and personalize outreach.
- **Agencies** — find prospects running outdated tech or a competitor's tool.
- **SaaS companies** — competitive intelligence: who uses your competitor (detected via scripts *and* DNS verification records).
- **Data enrichment pipelines / CRMs** — enrich inbound sign-ups by their email domain (you can paste email addresses directly).
- **Investors & market researchers** — technology adoption across a list of companies.

### FAQ

**How accurate is the tech detection?** It uses the open-source webappanalyzer fingerprint database (the successor of Wappalyzer's public dataset, GPL-3.0) matching HTML, scripts, headers, cookies, meta tags and DOM. Technologies that load only after JavaScript execution may be missed.

**Some sites return 403.** A few large sites block all automated traffic. You are not charged for them.

**Why didn't it find an email?** Many websites publish only a contact form. In that case you still get the phone numbers and social profiles when they exist. Sites that render everything with JavaScript may return fewer results.

**Can I use it after a Google Maps scrape?** Yes. Paste the `website` column from any Maps or directory scraper into `domains`.

**Does it find personal emails?** It only collects contact information that the company itself publishes on its website. Please use the data in line with GDPR/CAN-SPAM and the laws of your country.
