## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## TikTok Shop Scraper: Products, Prices, Sales & Stock

Pull clean product data from **TikTok Shop** by keyword, by store, or by product URL. Every row gives you the price, list price, discount, units sold, rating, review count and seller. Turn on full details to add **SKU variants with stock levels**, categories, seller location, sample reviews and the **creator videos promoting each product**.

- **Failed lookups are free.** You pay only for products saved to your dataset.
- **Hard caps you control.** Set a per-keyword limit and a run-wide limit, and the actor never goes past them or past your spend limit.
- **Two price tiers.** Cheap listing data for market scans; full product pages only when you need them.
- **No proxies or browsers to configure.** Runs on a managed data API, so there is nothing to tune and runs finish fast.

### What you can scrape

| Input | What you get |
|---|---|
| **Search keywords** (`lip gloss`, `phone case`) | Products ranked as TikTok Shop shows them, with position, free-shipping badge, and the **TikTok video the product was found through** (views, likes, shares, creator and follower count) |
| **Store URLs** (`https://www.tiktok.com/shop/store/<name>/<id>`) | The store's catalogue, best-selling or newest first, plus a store summary (rating, units sold, followers) |
| **Product URLs or IDs** | Full product page: every variant with price and stock, categories, reviews, creator videos |

You can mix all three in one run.

### Use cases

- **Product research and dropshipping:** find what sells by keyword and sort by units sold.
- **Competitor tracking:** watch a rival store's catalogue, prices and discounts on a schedule.
- **Price and stock monitoring:** track SKU prices and stock for a list of products.
- **Influencer discovery:** see which creators post about a product, their view counts, and whether commission was paid.
- **Market sizing:** units sold and review counts across a category.

```
Basic rows (search and store results without full details) have the same fields; the detail-only ones are `null`. The dataset has two views: **Products** and **Stock & variants**. A run summary is saved as `SUMMARY` in the key-value store.
### Pricing
Pay per product saved:
| Event | When | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Product | A search or store result with listing data | $2.00 per 1,000 |
| Detailed product | A product with full page data (product URLs, or any result with **Fetch full details** on) | $5.00 per 1,000 |
You are never charged for failed lookups, empty searches, invalid URLs or duplicates. If a full-detail lookup fails for a search result, you get the listing data at the basic price instead.
**Example:** 10 keywords × 50 products = 500 products = **$1.00**. The same with full details = **$2.50**.
### Tips
- Start with listing data to scan a market, then send the products you care about back in as **Product URLs** for full details. A product URL always returns full details, even if the same run already saved that product from a search or store.
- Use **Skip duplicate products** (on by default) when keywords overlap.
- Schedule a store run daily to track new launches (sort: **Newest**) or price changes.
### Limitations
- **US is the reliable region.** Other regions can return partial or no data, and full product details are US-only. Failed lookups cost nothing, so you can try.
- **Search depth** is limited to what TikTok Shop returns for a keyword. The run summary shows how many pages each keyword returned.
- **Units sold** are the figures TikTok Shop displays.
- **Reviews** are the ones shown on the product page, not the full review history.
- **Review counts** aren't included in TikTok's search results (ratings are). Store results and detailed products have them.
- Video URLs (`descriptionVideoUrl`) are signed by TikTok and expire after a few hours. Download them promptly if you need the files.
### FAQ
**Do I need a TikTok account or cookies?** No.
**Do I need proxies?** No. Proxy settings are not used.
**Is scraping TikTok Shop legal?** This actor collects publicly visible product data only. Make sure your use complies with the laws that apply to you and with TikTok's terms. Don't use the data to contact or profile private individuals.
**Something broke or a field is missing?** Open an issue in the Issues tab with the run ID.
