## Pricing

from $0.75 / 1,000 job results

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

Collect public Ashby vacancies from one or more company job boards and receive **one structured Dataset item per unique posting**. Enter an Ashby board URL or slug to get job titles, locations, employment information, application links, and optional descriptions and compensation.

### What this Actor does

Ashby Jobs Scraper collects currently published jobs from boards you specify. Each result includes a stable posting ID, its public job and application URLs, department and team, workplace arrangement, publication time, and the source fields the employer makes available.

Descriptions and compensation are optional. Disabling descriptions removes the dedicated description fields from the output.

### Use cases

- Refresh a job directory from companies using Ashby.
- Monitor hiring activity by team, department, location, or workplace arrangement.
- Compare published compensation where employers disclose it.
- Export vacancies for research, recruiting analysis, and job alerts.

### How to use

1. Open the Actor in Apify Console.
2. Enter a public Ashby board URL or board slug in `boardUrls`.
3. Choose the maximum jobs per board and the overall maximum.
4. Click **Start** and open the Dataset when the run finishes.

The complete input below produced the sample Dataset item shown in Output.

### Input

```json
{
  "boardUrls": ["https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/linear"],
  "includeCompensation": true,
  "includeDescription": false,
  "maxJobsPerBoard": 3,
  "maxTotalJobs": 3,
  "continueOnError": true
}
```

| Field | Default | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| `boardUrls` | Required | 1–50 public Ashby board URLs or slugs. Duplicate board names are processed once, ignoring case. |
| `includeCompensation` | `true` | Include structured compensation when published. |
| `includeDescription` | `true` | Include `descriptionHtml` and `descriptionText`. |
| `maxJobsPerBoard` | 500 results | Maximum unique jobs saved per board; accepts 1–5,000. |
| `maxTotalJobs` | 5,000 results | Overall maximum unique jobs; accepts 1–50,000. |
| `continueOnError` | `true` | Continue to other boards when a board is unavailable. Set to `false` to stop collection at that board. Saved jobs remain available and incomplete coverage is reported in the summary. |

Supported board URLs use `jobs.ashbyhq.com`; public Ashby posting-feed URLs are also accepted. Unrelated domains and unrecognized input fields are rejected.

### Output

Each Dataset item represents one unique job posting within its company board. Results can be exported using Apify's Dataset export options.

This is the complete Dataset item from a real successful run:

```json
{
  "source": "ashby",
  "boardSlug": "linear",
  "boardUrl": "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/linear",
  "sourceJobId": "d3bc1ced-3ce4-4086-a050-555055dbb1ff",
  "internalJobId": null,
  "requisitionId": null,
  "title": "Senior / Staff Fullstack Engineer",
  "companyName": null,
  "jobUrl": "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/linear/d3bc1ced-3ce4-4086-a050-555055dbb1ff",
  "applyUrl": "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/linear/d3bc1ced-3ce4-4086-a050-555055dbb1ff/application",
  "location": "Europe",
  "locations": [
    "Europe"
  ],
  "department": "Product",
  "departments": [
    "Product"
  ],
  "offices": [],
  "metadata": [],
  "country": null,
  "employmentType": "FullTime",
  "team": "Engineering",
  "workplaceType": "Remote",
  "isRemote": true,
  "postedAt": "2021-04-27T20:13:45.158+00:00",
  "updatedAt": null,
  "applicationDeadline": null,
  "language": null,
  "descriptionHtml": null,
  "descriptionText": null,
  "compensation": {
    "compensationTierSummary": null,
    "scrapeableCompensationSalarySummary": null,
    "compensationTiers": [],
    "summaryComponents": []
  },
  "address": {
    "postalAddress": {
      "addressCountry": "European Union"
    }
  },
  "secondaryLocations": [],
  "isListed": true,
  "shouldDisplayCompensation": false,
  "sourceData": null,
  "scrapedAt": "2026-10-20T18:05:20.004603Z"
}
```

`sourceJobId` identifies the public posting, while `boardSlug` identifies its company board. `locations` combines the primary and secondary locations without repeated labels. Compensation objects may be present with empty components when the employer does not disclose a salary.

Some normalized fields, including `companyName`, `internalJobId`, `requisitionId`, `updatedAt`, and `language`, remain null because they are not supplied by the supported source. `country` also remains null; consult `address` for any published address information.

The `SUMMARY` record reports saved jobs, per-board counts, unavailable boards, omitted invalid records, and whether requested limits were applied. `ERRORS` lists board problems. Source problems produce a partial or stopped collection rather than discarding jobs saved from other boards. These outcomes do not mean all requested boards were collected.

### Pricing

This Actor uses pay-per-event pricing. Each unique job confirmed in the Dataset is one billable result. Check the Actor's **Pricing** tab for the current rates before starting a run.

| Apify plan | Price per job result | Equivalent per 1,000 job results |
|---|---:|---:|
| Free | $0.001 | $1.00 |
| Bronze | $0.0009 | $0.90 |
| Silver | $0.0008 | $0.80 |
| Gold | $0.00075 | $0.75 |
| Platinum | $0.00075 | $0.75 |
| Diamond | $0.00075 | $0.75 |

One unique job saved to the Dataset is one billable result. Descriptions and compensation do not add extra result fees. Empty boards, failed requests, duplicates and run summaries are not billable results. Jobs successfully saved before another board fails remain billable.

The run's maximum charge can stop collection before the requested result limits. Already saved jobs remain available. A run with unconfirmed billing is reported as incomplete.

### Limits and data quality

- Requested limits are ceilings. The board may publish fewer jobs.
- The board is obtained as a complete list before output limits are applied; a small output limit does not reduce the amount of source data needed.
- Duplicate posting IDs within one board are saved once.
- Jobs can change or disappear after collection. Optional fields can be null or empty.
- Temporary source unavailability can leave a partial or stopped collection. Already saved Dataset items remain available.
- Postings that cannot be safely exported are omitted and counted in the summary; other valid postings are retained.
- Reusing the same run storage with the same input preserves confirmed jobs. Starting a fresh run collects a new snapshot; existing storage cannot be reused with different options.
- Interrupted or unconfirmed output is reported as incomplete rather than described as a complete board.

### Frequently asked questions

#### Can I process multiple companies?

Yes. Supply up to 50 board entries. The global job limit applies across all boards in their input order.

#### Does this Actor search all Ashby companies?

No. Supply the board URLs or slugs you want to collect.

#### Why are salary fields empty?

Compensation is available only when the employer publishes it. An included compensation object does not guarantee a disclosed salary range.

#### Why can a stopped or partial collection contain jobs?

A later board may be unavailable after earlier boards delivered valid results. Check `SUMMARY` and `ERRORS`; partial coverage is never reported as a complete collection. A storage integrity or unresolved billing problem can still stop the run with an error while preserving available data.

#### Does this Actor submit applications?

No. It collects public job data and application URLs without submitting candidate information.

### Responsible use
