## Pricing

from $2.70 / 1,000 dataset items

This Actor is paid per event and usage. You are charged both the fixed price for specific events and for Apify platform usage.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

**Airbnb Address Finder** creates a structured dataset of Airbnb listings from room URLs you supply. Each dataset item is one listing and can include the listing id, name, description, coordinates, the address fields Airbnb returns, guest limits, host flags, ratings, and photos. It also adds `detailed_address`, a reverse-geocoded display name for those coordinates from OpenStreetMap Nominatim. Query the source with `https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/` URLs. Retrieve records through the Apify Dataset API or export them as JSON, CSV, Excel, XML, or another supported format.

[![Airbnb Address Finder — input to structured data](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/faizanalii/apify-actor-assets/main/airbnb-address-finder/airbnb-address-finder-value-demo.gif)](https://apify.com/datascrapers/airbnb-address-finder)

### Dataset at a glance

| Property | Value |
|---|---|
| Source | Airbnb room pages, plus OpenStreetMap Nominatim for `detailed_address` |
| Record unit | One Airbnb listing |
| Input methods | List of Airbnb room URLs |
| Main identifiers | `identifier`, `url` |
| Delivery | Apify Dataset and API |
| Export formats | JSON, CSV, Excel, XML, and other Apify dataset exports |
| Update model | Fresh records per Actor run |
| Pricing | Pay per event: `dataset-item` at $0.001 |

### Coverage and available records

The Actor accepts `urls`. Each value must start with `https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/`. Any other string is skipped and is not saved. An empty `urls` list stops the run with an error.

For each accepted URL the Actor loads the listing. If the listing has no coordinates, or the coordinates are 0,0, that URL produces no dataset row. When coordinates are present, the Actor calls Nominatim reverse geocoding at zoom 18 and stores the returned `display_name` in `detailed_address`. If that lookup fails, the listing is still saved and `detailed_address` is an empty string.

`location.address` and `location.coordinates` come from the Airbnb listing payload. `location.show_exact` is Airbnb's flag for whether those coordinates are exact. `detailed_address` is not an address field printed by Airbnb. It is the Nominatim name for the coordinate pair. If Airbnb's coordinates are approximate, the geocoded name can point at a nearby street rather than a unit door.

The stored sample is one active listing, id 53991879, with `show_exact` true, city Jersey City, subdivision New Jersey, country United States, overall rating 4.84, and 67 reviews. `unit.area.size`, host name, features, bathrooms, and bedrooms are empty or null on that record. The Actor has no search by city, dates, or guest count. It does not collect availability or a price quote. Passing the same URL twice in one run writes two rows.

There is no `maxItems` input. Every successfully parsed URL is saved. URLs are processed in chunks of five unless the run input includes a `concurrency` number. That key is not part of the published input schema.

### Data dictionary

The table lists top-level keys on the stored listing. Nested objects are in the following tables. The sample has one record, so a field is marked nullable when that record's value is null. Empty strings and empty arrays are present, not null.

### Query and input reference

| Input | Type | Required | Default | Accepted values | Description |
|---|---|---:|---|---|---|
| `urls` | array of strings | Yes | — | URLs starting with https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/ | Listing pages to load. Other URL shapes are skipped. |
| `proxyConfiguration` | object | No | Apify residential | Apify proxy input | Connection used for listing and geocoding requests. The default uses Apify residential. |

Minimal request:

```json
{
  "urls": ["https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/53991879"]
}
```

Several listings:

```json
{
  "urls": [
    "https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/53991879",
    "https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/782682596976136912"
  ],
  "proxyConfiguration": {
    "useApifyProxy": true,
    "apifyProxyGroups": ["RESIDENTIAL"]
  }
}
```

The second URL is the input schema's prefill example. It is not a second stored dataset record on this page.

### Retrieve the data through the API

This is the Apify Actor API. Airbnb does not provide this endpoint, and Nominatim is used only inside the run to fill `detailed_address`.

1. Start `datascrapers/airbnb-address-finder` with a JSON input.
2. Wait until the run finishes, or poll the run status.
3. Read items from the run's default dataset.
4. Page the dataset with offset and limit, or export it from the run page.

```python
from apify_client import ApifyClient
client = ApifyClient("YOUR_API_TOKEN")
run = client.actor("datascrapers/airbnb-address-finder").call(run_input={
    "urls": ["https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/53991879"],
})
items = client.dataset(run["defaultDatasetId"]).list_items().items
print(items)
```

Other languages are listed on the Actor's API tab in Apify Console. Do not put a real token in a URL or in source control.

### Export and pipeline examples

| Destination | Recommended method | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| PostgreSQL or Supabase | Dataset API or a webhook consumer | Store `identifier` as the listing key and `detailed_address` as the geocoded name |
| Google Sheets | Apify integration | Share listing id, city, and geocoded name |
| Amazon S3 or other cloud storage | Scheduled dataset export or an integration | Archive each run's JSON or CSV |
| A custom application | Dataset items endpoint | Join these rows to other Airbnb extracts on `identifier` |

### Data quality and record handling

Listing fields are the Actor's listing model, dumped from the Airbnb room payload. `detailed_address` is the only derived field. It is the Nominatim `display_name` for `location.coordinates` at zoom 18, in English. It can be empty when the lookup fails. It can disagree with `location.address` because those values come from different sources.

A URL that is not an Airbnb room link is skipped. A listing without usable coordinates is skipped and creates no `dataset-item` charge. A geocoding failure still saves the listing. The same `identifier` submitted twice is saved twice. Deduplicate on `identifier` after the run.

Empty arrays mean the listing model had no entries, not that the key was removed. Empty strings are kept for description lines, story, address lines, and host name on the stored sample. `unit.area.size` and `unit.area.unit` are null on that sample, so area is not available for every listing. Photo objects use `title`, which may be empty.

`rating.ratings[].percentage` is the category score as returned. On the stored sample the accuracy category is 4.79, on the same scale as the 4.84 overall rating, not a 0–100 percent.

The run writes a key-value record `run-stats` with `recordsScraped`, `runStartedAt`, and `runFinishedAt`. Those timestamps are UTC ISO-8601. They are not dataset fields.

### Pricing and cost examples

The Actor uses pay per event. Every saved listing charges one `dataset-item` event at **$0.001**. The same price applies on every plan tier. There is no separate Actor-start event and no separate charge for the geocoding lookup. A URL that produces no record is not charged as `dataset-item`.

Platform usage, including compute and residential proxy traffic, is billed to the run account in addition to these events. Estimates below are event charges only.

| Records | Estimated event cost |
|---:|---:|
| 1,000 | $1.00 |
| 10,000 | $10.00 |

There is no `maxItems` cap. The event count follows the number of URLs that return a listing with coordinates.

### Limitations and responsible data use

The Actor reads an Airbnb room URL and the listing fields that page exposes, then looks up the listing coordinates in OpenStreetMap Nominatim. It does not return a price, a calendar, or a historical archive. Each run reflects the listing and the geocoder at the time of the request.

`detailed_address` is only as precise as the coordinates. When `location.show_exact` is false, treat the geocoded name as approximate. City and region remain on `location.address` even when the street line is empty. Host name and photo can be empty, as they are on the stored sample.

Nominatim is a public geocoder with its own usage policy. Large URL lists increase both Actor events and geocoding requests. You are responsible for using the dataset in line with Airbnb terms, OpenStreetMap policies, privacy rules, and any contract that applies to your project. This page does not provide a legal conclusion about a particular use.

### Dataset questions

#### What does one dataset item represent?

One Airbnb room URL that resolved to a listing with coordinates, plus the Nominatim display name for those coordinates when the lookup succeeds.

#### Which field should I use as a unique identifier?

Use `identifier`. It is the Airbnb listing id in the room URL.

#### Are fields nullable or conditional?

`detailed_address` is an empty string when geocoding fails. Area, host name, features, bathrooms, and bedrooms are null or empty on the stored sample. A URL without coordinates produces no row at all.

#### Can I retrieve the records as CSV or JSON?

Yes. Download JSON, CSV, Excel, XML, or another format from the Apify Console export menu, or read JSON through the Dataset API. Nested location, host, and rating objects flatten or stringify depending on the export format.

#### How do I paginate large datasets?

The Actor does not page a search. It walks the `urls` array. After the run, page the Apify dataset with offset and limit.

#### Does the Actor return historical data?

No. A record is the listing and geocode observed during that run.

#### What counts as a billable result?

Each saved listing is one `dataset-item` event at $0.001. Skipped URLs are not billed as dataset items. Platform usage is charged separately.
