## Pricing

from $0.97 / 1,000 dataset items

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

Cdiscount product records from the public catalog. One dataset item is one offer, such as APPLE iPhone 17 256GB Mist Blue, product id ip17256blue: name, price, currency, seller, rating, and the product URL. Query with a search phrase or a start URL. Turn on listing details and reviews only when you need them. Export the default dataset as JSON, CSV, Excel, or XML.

### Dataset at a glance

| | |
|---|---|
| Source | Cdiscount catalog |
| One record | One product offer |
| Deduplicate on | `productId` |
| Main fields | `name`, `price`, `currency`, `sellerName`, `rating`, `url` |
| Query | `searchQueries`, `startUrls` |
| Export | JSON, CSV, Excel, XML |

### Coverage and available records

- Records come from the public search or product URL you pass in.
- A search row includes price, seller, rating, and the product URL.
- `includeListingDetails` adds the detail block and charges `listing-details`.
- `includeReviews` adds reviews and charges one `review` event per saved review.
- `maxItems` of `0` does not cap the result set.

### Data dictionary

| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| `productId` | Product id. Use this to deduplicate. |
| `offerId` | Offer id for this seller listing. |
| `name` | Product name. |
| `url` | Public product page. |
| `price` | Current price in `currency`. |
| `priceWithoutVAT` | Price excluding VAT when the catalog sends it. |
| `currency` | Currency code. |
| `productCondition` | Condition, such as NEW. |
| `rating` | Average rating. |
| `reviewCount` | Review count shown on the offer. |
| `sellerName` | Seller name. |
| `freeShipping` | Whether the offer shows free shipping. |
| `imageUrl` | Primary image. |
| `details` | Detail block when listing details are enabled. |
| `reviews` | Review rows when reviews are enabled. |
| `sourceQuery` | Search phrase or URL that produced the row. |

### Example dataset record

```json
{
  "productId": "ip17256blue",
  "offerId": "4262282721",
  "name": "APPLE iPhone 17 256GB Mist Blue",
  "url": "https://www.cdiscount.com/telephonie/telephone-mobile/apple-iphone-17-256gb-mist",
  "price": 1119,
  "currency": "EUR",
  "productCondition": "NEW",
  "rating": 4.86111111111111,
  "sellerName": "CDISCOUNT"
}
```

Confirm `rating` and `price` against your own run. Both change on the catalog.

### Query and input reference

| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| `searchQueries` | Product search terms to look up on Cdiscount (e.g. "iphone", "lave linge"). Combined with Start URLs when both are set. |
| `startUrls` | Cdiscount search, category, or product page URLs, e.g. https://www.cdiscount.com/search/10/iphone.html or https://www.cdiscount.com/telephonie/telephone-mobi... |
| `maxItems` | Maximum number of product listings to scrape across all queries and URLs (0 = unlimited). |
| `includeListingDetails` | When enabled, fetch full product-sheet details for each listing (description, specifications, variants, EAN, shipping). Charged as the listing-details event... |
| `includeReviews` | When enabled, fetch customer reviews for each product. Reviews are stored as a list of objects on the same row. Charged as the review event once per review. |
| `maxReviewsPerProduct` | Maximum number of reviews to collect per product when Include Reviews is enabled (0 = all available reviews). |
| `detailConcurrency` | How many products to enrich in parallel when listing details or reviews are enabled. Each request uses a rotated residential proxy. Default is 10. |
| `proxyConfiguration` | Proxy settings. Apify Residential proxies are recommended for reliable Cdiscount access. |

### Retrieve the data through the API

```python
from apify_client import ApifyClient
client = ApifyClient("<APIFY_TOKEN>")
run = client.actor("datascrapers/cdiscount-scraper").call(run_input={
    "searchQueries": ["iphone"],
    "maxItems": 10,
})
for item in client.dataset(run["defaultDatasetId"]).iterate_items():
    print(item["productId"], item["name"], item["price"])
```

This is the Apify Actor API, not a Cdiscount API.

### Data quality and record handling

- One dataset item is one offer. Each pushed offer charges one `dataset-item` event.
- Deduplicate on `productId`. The same product can have more than one `offerId`.
- `includeListingDetails` charges one `listing-details` event per enriched product.
- `includeReviews` charges one `review` event per saved review.
- Prices are euros as returned by the catalog. The Actor does not convert them.

### Pricing and cost examples

`dataset-item` is **$1.00 per 1,000** on the free plan, then $0.99, $0.98, and $0.97 per 1,000 on Bronze, Silver, and Gold. `listing-details` and `review` are **$1.50 per 1,000** on the free plan, then $1.40, $1.30, and $1.20. Platinum and Diamond use the Gold rate. Platform usage is not billed on top of these events.

| Event | Free | Bronze | Silver | Gold |
|---|---:|---:|---:|---:|
| `dataset-item` per 1,000 | $1.00 | $0.99 | $0.98 | $0.97 |
| `listing-details` per 1,000 | $1.50 | $1.40 | $1.30 | $1.20 |
| `review` per 1,000 | $1.50 | $1.40 | $1.30 | $1.20 |

### Limitations and responsible data use

- Coverage is the public search you request, not the full marketplace.
- Prices, sellers, and ratings change. This dataset is not a historical archive.
- You are responsible for complying with the site's terms and applicable law.

### Dataset questions

#### What does one dataset item represent?

One Cdiscount product offer from a search or product URL.

#### Which field should I use as a unique identifier?

Use `productId` for the product. Use `offerId` when you need a specific seller offer.

#### Are fields nullable or conditional?

Yes. `details` and `reviews` are present only when those inputs are enabled and the page returns them.

#### Can I retrieve the records as CSV or JSON?

Yes. Export the default dataset as JSON, CSV, Excel, XML, or another Apify format.

#### How do I paginate large datasets?

Use `limit` and `offset` on the dataset items endpoint. `maxItems` limits how many rows the run saves.
