## Pricing

from $0.80 / 1,000 listings

This Actor is paid per event and usage. You are charged both the fixed price for specific events and for Apify platform usage.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

**Furnished Finder Listings and Host Contact Info** gives instant access to a structured dataset of Furnished Finder housing records. Each dataset item is one listing and can include rent, availability, property type, photos, the linked host profile, and the host phone number. Query a city such as Austin, select one or more US states, paste a Furnished Finder housing or property URL, or pass listing ids. Limit results with `maxItems`, then retrieve records through the Apify Dataset API or export them as JSON, CSV, Excel, XML, or another supported format. The inventory covers close to a million Furnished Finder listings, each linked to a host. Paid users can add host phone numbers.

| Record unit | One listing |
| Input methods | `searchQuery`, `searchQueries`, `states`, `urls`, `listingIds` |
| Main identifiers | `listingId`, `url` |
| Delivery | Apify Dataset and API |
| Export formats | JSON, CSV, Excel, XML, and other Apify dataset exports |

### Coverage and available records

The Actor returns Furnished Finder listings for US locations. `searchQuery` and `searchQueries` accept a city (`Austin`) or a city and state (`Atlanta, GA`). `states` returns every listing for each selected state. `urls` accepts housing search URLs or property URLs. `listingIds` accepts ids such as `1046391_1`.

`listingDetails` adds property-page fields such as fees, house rules, reviews, coordinates, and the full description. `hostInfo` adds the linked host profile. `hostPhoneNumber` adds `hostPhone` for paying customers. Free users receive `Phone number is only available for paid users.` when that option is on.

`maxItems` caps the number of listings. `0` means no cap. Optional `minPrice`, `maxPrice`, and `moveInDate` filter monthly rent and availability. When the current inventory already covers the requested count, the run returns those records immediately.

The Actor does not collect bookings, messages, or login-only host dashboards.

Minimal request:

```json
{
  "searchQuery": "Austin",
  "maxItems": 10
}
```

Advanced request:

```json
{
  "searchQueries": ["Austin", "Atlanta, GA"],
  "states": ["TX"],
  "maxItems": 100,
  "listingDetails": true,
  "hostInfo": true,
  "hostPhoneNumber": true,
  "minPrice": 800,
  "maxPrice": 4000,
  "moveInDate": "2026-12-01"
}
```

### Retrieve the data through the API

1. Start the Actor with JSON input.
2. Wait for the run or use the synchronous dataset endpoint.
3. Read items from the run’s default dataset.
4. Paginate or export the dataset.

```python
from apify_client import ApifyClient
client = ApifyClient("<YOUR_API_TOKEN>")
run = client.actor("datascrapers/furnishedfinder-listings-and-host-contact-info").call(run_input={
    "searchQuery": "Austin",
    "maxItems": 10,
    "hostInfo": True,
    "hostPhoneNumber": True,
})
for item in client.dataset(run["defaultDatasetId"]).iterate_items():
    print(item.get("listingId"), item.get("rentAmount"), item.get("hostPhone"))
```

Use the Actor API tab in Apify Console for other languages. Never place a real token in a URL or example.

### Data quality and record handling

Deduplicate on `listingId`. `url` is a second identifier. Host fields are absent when `hostInfo` is off. `hostPhone` is absent when `hostPhoneNumber` is off. Paying customers receive the phone when one exists; free users receive the paid-only placeholder. `listingDetails` fields are absent when that option is off. Each run writes a new dataset.

### Export and pipeline examples

| Destination | Recommended method | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| Spreadsheet | CSV or Excel export | Manual review of rents and hosts |
| PostgreSQL or Supabase | Dataset API or webhook consumer | Inventory and outreach tables |
| Google Sheets | Apify integration | Shared market snapshots |
| Cloud storage | Scheduled dataset export | Recurring city extracts |

### Pricing and cost examples

Pay per event. Prices below are per event, not per 1,000, except where noted. Platinum and Diamond use the Gold rate. `apify-actor-start` is $0.00005 once per run. Platform usage is billed separately.

| Event | Free | Bronze | Silver | Gold |
|---|---:|---:|---:|---:|
| listing | $0.001 | $0.001 | $0.0009 | $0.0008 |
| listing-details | $0.001 | $0.001 | $0.0009 | $0.0008 |
| host-info | $0.001 | $0.001 | $0.0009 | $0.0008 |
| host-phone-number | $0.001 | $0.001 | $0.0009 | $0.0008 |

That is **$1.00 per 1,000 listings** on Free and **$0.80 per 1,000 listings** on Gold. Optional events are charged only when those fields are returned. Host phone is charged only when a real number is returned to a paying user.

| Listings | Listing-only cost (Free) | Listing + host + phone (Free) |
|---:|---:|---:|
| 1,000 | $1.00 | $3.00 |
| 10,000 | $10.00 | $30.00 |

Estimates exclude Actor start and platform usage.

### Limitations and responsible data use

Records come from Furnished Finder listings that are available to the Actor. Field presence depends on the source listing and the options you enable. The Actor does not keep a historical snapshot after the run unless you store the dataset. Users are responsible for privacy, contractual, and legal compliance when using host names and phone numbers.

### Dataset questions

#### What does one dataset item represent?

One Furnished Finder listing. Optional host and detail fields attach to that same item.

#### Which field should I use as a unique identifier?

Use `listingId`. Use `url` if you need a public link.

#### Are host phone numbers included by default?

No. Turn on `hostPhoneNumber`. Paying customers receive the phone when it is available. Free users receive `Phone number is only available for paid users.`

#### How do I get instant access to a large inventory?

Enter a city, state, URL, or listing id. When the current inventory already covers `maxItems`, the Actor returns those listings immediately.

#### Can I retrieve the records as CSV or JSON?

Yes. Download the dataset as JSON, CSV, Excel, XML, or another Apify export, or read it through the Dataset API.

#### What counts as a billable result?

Each listing charges `listing`. `listing-details`, `host-info`, and `host-phone-number` are extra events and fire only when those fields are returned.

#### Does the Actor return historical data?

No. Each run returns the current inventory for the query. Keep the dataset if you need a snapshot.
