## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Airbnb Scraper — listings, prices, hosts & ratings (no login)

**Airbnb Scraper** extracts Airbnb listings by **city, search URL or room ID**: nightly and total **prices**, **ratings**, **review counts**, **amenities**, **host name**, room type, guest capacity, **coordinates**, photos and badges. No login, no cookies, no browser — fast and cheap. Export JSON, CSV or Excel.

### What does the Airbnb Scraper do?

It reads Airbnb's public search and listing pages and returns one flat row per listing. Use it for **short-term rental market research**, **price monitoring**, competitor analysis, investment analysis, travel apps and data science.

### Features

- **Scrape by location** ("Paris, France"), **by Airbnb search URL** (your filters are kept) or **by room ID / URL**.
- Dates and guests: `checkIn`, `checkOut`, `adults`, `children`, `infants`, `pets` for **total stay prices**.
- Filters: `priceMin`, `priceMax`, `minBeds`, `minBedrooms`, **currency** and **language**.
- Search fields: title, property type, **price (display, original, qualifier, breakdown)**, rating, review count, **latitude/longitude**, photos, badges, Guest favorite flag.
- Detail fields (`includeDetails`): **full amenities list**, **sub-ratings** (cleanliness, accuracy, check-in, communication, location, value), host name, superhost flag, room type, guest capacity.
- **Incremental mode** (`onlyNew`) to track new listings, `maxItems` cost cap, pagination across result pages.

### How to scrape Airbnb listings

1. Enter a **location** (e.g. "Austin, TX") or paste an Airbnb search URL / room IDs.
2. Add dates and guests to get total prices.
3. Run, then export the dataset as JSON, CSV or Excel.

### Pricing

Pay per event: **$5 per 1,000 listings** ($0.005 each), including details. Errors and empty searches are free.

### Limitations

Airbnb exposes up to ~270 listings per search. Review **texts** and the availability calendar are not included in this version. Prices depend on dates and guests.

### Use cases

Short-term rental market analysis · dynamic pricing research · investment and ROI screening · competitor monitoring by neighbourhood · travel and proptech data products.

### FAQ

**Does it need an Airbnb account or API?** No — public pages only.
**How many listings per search?** Airbnb exposes up to about 270 per search; split large areas into several searches (neighbourhoods, price bands).
**Does it return reviews and the availability calendar?** This version returns ratings, review counts and sub-ratings, but not review texts or calendar availability.

### Airbnb data API and export

Use this Airbnb scraper as an Airbnb data API: scrape listings, prices and ratings by location search, get host details and amenities, and download scraped data as JSON, CSV or Excel via API — no API key needed.

### Is it legal? No login, no cookies

This Actor only reads **publicly available** pages. It never asks for a cookie, password or account and does not access private data. You are responsible for using the data in line with the source site's terms and applicable law (GDPR/CCPA for personal data).
