## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## YouTube Email Scraper — find business emails of any YouTube channel

**YouTube Email Scraper** is a YouTube channel email extractor and email finder. Give it channel URLs, @handles, channel IDs — or just a **niche keyword** — and it returns the **public business email** of each channel, with the source of the address. No login, no cookies, no CAPTCHA, and you pay only for channels where an email is found.

### What is the YouTube Email Scraper?

It reads the public **About page** of a YouTube channel and extracts business emails written in the description. If the About text has none, it checks the channel's own **linked website** (home page, /contact, /about) for a contact email. Use it for **influencer outreach**, creator marketing, sponsorship and partnership prospecting, and lead generation.

### Features

- **Find YouTube channel emails by URL, @handle or channel ID** — bulk lists supported.
- **Find channels by keyword** — type a niche (e.g. "vegan recipes") and get emails for matching channels (`searchQueries`).
- **Email source and type** for every row: `description` or `website:<page>`; `role` (business@, press@), `named` or `personal-webmail`.
- **Domain MX check** (`emailDomainHasMx`) to filter dead domains; option to skip personal webmail.
- Channel data in each row: title, handle, subscribers, country, video count and the channel's external links.
- **Incremental mode** (`onlyNew`) for scheduled runs, `maxItems` cost cap, fast concurrent HTTP — no browser.
- **Export** to JSON, CSV, Excel or via API.

### How to scrape YouTube emails (3 steps)

1. Paste channel URLs / @handles into **urls** or add keywords to **searchQueries**.
2. Leave **Search linked websites** on to also check the creator's own site.
3. Run and download the dataset. Channels without a public email return a free `no_public_email` row.

### Input

`urls`, `searchQueries`, `maxChannelsPerQuery`, `searchLinkedWebsites`, `verifyMx`, `onlyRoleOrBusinessEmails`, `maxItems` (default 100), `onlyNew`, `maxConcurrency`, `proxyConfiguration`. Every field is described in the input form.

### Example output (real run)

```json
{
  "id": "UCIEv3lZ_tNXHzL3ox-_uUGQ",
  "url": "https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCIEv3lZ_tNXHzL3ox-_uUGQ",
  "handle": "@gordonramsay",
  "title": "Gordon Ramsay",
  "subscribers": "22M subscribers",
  "country": null,
  "videoCount": "2,134 videos",
  "email": "guestrelations@gordonramsay.com",
  "allEmails": [
    "guestrelations@gordonramsay.com"
  ],
  "emailSource": "website:http://www.gordonramsay.com",
  "emailType": "named",
  "emailDomainHasMx": true,
  "schemaVersion": 1
}
```

### Pricing

Pay per event: **$30 per 1,000 channels with an email found** ($0.03 each). Channels with no public email, missing channels and errors are **free**. Platform usage is a fraction of a cent per channel.

### Limitations

Many large channels publish no email in their About text — those return a free `no_public_email` row. Emails behind YouTube's login/CAPTCHA button are not available by design. `emailDomainHasMx` checks the domain, not the mailbox.

### Use cases

Influencer outreach lists · sponsorship and brand-deal prospecting · creator-economy lead generation · agency prospecting by niche · competitor and partner research.

### FAQ

**Does it use YouTube's "View email address" button?** No — that button is behind a login and CAPTCHA. This Actor only collects emails creators publish openly in the About text or on their own website.
**Why do some channels return no email?** Many large channels publish none (in our test about 1 in 3 had a public email). Those rows are free.
**Can I find YouTube creator emails by niche?** Yes, use `searchQueries` with up to 200 channels per keyword.
**Is the email verified?** `emailDomainHasMx` confirms the domain can receive mail; it does not confirm the mailbox exists.

### Also useful for

Extract email addresses, social links and contact details from YouTube channel About pages; a creator contact finder for influencer outreach — scraper extract of business emails from channel URLs, channel handles and links on YouTube, exported as JSON, CSV or Excel.

### Is it legal? No login, no cookies

This Actor only reads **publicly available** pages. It never asks for a cookie, password or account and does not access private data. You are responsible for using the data in line with the source site's terms and applicable law (GDPR/CCPA for personal data).
