## Pricing

from $1.20 / 1,000 jobs

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Google Jobs Scraper

Search Google Jobs and get structured job listings: title, company, location, salary, full description, and **direct apply links to every board** that lists the job (LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, company career pages and more).

Give it job titles and cities. It runs every combination, reads past the first results page (about 100-130 jobs per search), removes duplicates, and stops when it reaches your limit.

**Typical uses:** job boards and aggregators, recruiting and sourcing lists, salary research, hiring-trend tracking by company or city, and daily alerts for new postings.

### What you get

| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| `title`, `company`, `location` | As shown by Google Jobs |
| `via` | Board Google shows for the listing |
| `applyUrl`, `applyLinks` | Direct links, each with its board name |
| `description` | Full job description text |
| `highlights` | Qualifications, benefits, responsibilities (English-language results only) |
| `salary`, `salaryMin`, `salaryMax`, `salaryCurrency`, `salaryPeriod` | Only when the posting lists pay |
| `employmentType`, `postedAgo`, `postedAt` | `postedAt` is an approximate date computed from "3 days ago" |
| `googleJobUrl`, `searchQuery`, `country`, `scrapedAt` | Context for each row |

No personal data (recruiter names, emails, phone numbers) is collected.

### How to use

1. Add one or more **Job titles or keywords** (`software engineer`, `registered nurse`).
2. Optionally add **Locations** (`New York`, `Austin`). Each keyword is searched in each location.
3. Pick a **Country** and set **Max jobs**.
4. Run it and download JSON, CSV or Excel from the dataset.

Germany, France, Spain and Italy work too. Write your keywords in the local language (for example `Softwareentwickler`, `développeur`, `enfermera`, `sviluppatore`).

### Reaching your Max jobs

Google returns about 10 jobs per page and stops after roughly 100-130 jobs for one search. To go further, leave **Expand searches** on: the actor automatically adds variations (full time, contract, part time, internship, remote, recent postings) and removes duplicates. The more keywords and locations you give, the more jobs you get.

### Filters

- **Date posted, employment types, remote only** change the Google search itself. English-language countries only (US, UK, CA, AU, IN).
- **Only jobs with salary, company filters, board filters** are applied to the results in any country.
- **Only new jobs since last run** with a **State key** returns only jobs you have not received before. Use one key per tracked search and schedule the actor to monitor a market.

### Output example

```json
{
  "title": "Full Stack Engineer (AI & Data Platform)",
  "company": "Technogen, Inc.",
  "location": "New York, NY",
  "via": "LinkedIn",
  "postedAgo": "10 hours ago",
  "postedAt": "2026-10-12T14:07:05.253Z",
  "employmentType": "Contractor",
  "salary": null,
  "description": "Full Stack Engineer (AI & Data Platform) Python | React.js | Node.js ...",
  "highlights": { "qualifications": ["Minimum 7+ years of ..."], "responsibilities": ["Design, develop ..."] },
  "applyUrl": "https://www.linkedin.com/jobs/view/...",
  "applyLinks": [
    { "via": "LinkedIn", "url": "https://www.linkedin.com/jobs/view/..." },
    { "via": "Talent.com", "url": "https://www.talent.com/view?id=..." }
  ],
  "searchQuery": "software engineer New York",
  "country": "us",
  "source": "browser",
  "scrapedAt": "2026-10-13T00:07:08.746Z"
}
```

### Pricing

Pay per event: a small start fee per run (charged per GB of memory) and a fee per job row. Duplicates (the same job found by two searches), filtered-out jobs and jobs already seen in "Only new jobs" mode are free. Proxy costs are included. Higher Apify plans get a lower per-job price.

### Good to know

- Google sometimes challenges a connection. The actor then switches to a new IP and retries. If browser mode keeps failing it falls back to a simpler request path that returns about 10 jobs per search, so a run still finishes with data. The run log shows which path each search used (`source`: `browser` or `serp`).
- Results are what Google Jobs shows for the chosen country and language. Job counts vary by market and by day.
- Residential proxy is used for browser mode and is included in the price.
- Salary appears only on postings that publish it (roughly one in three in the US).
- Posted dates and highlights depend on what Google displays for the language you search in.
- Use the data in line with the terms of the job boards you link to and with the privacy laws that apply to you.

### Example input

```json
{
  "queries": ["software engineer", "data analyst"],
  "locations": ["New York", "Austin"],
  "country": "us",
  "maxItems": 300,
  "datePosted": "week",
  "salaryOnly": false
}
```

# Actor input Schema

## `queries` (type: `array`):

One search per entry, e.g. "software engineer" or "registered nurse". For non-English countries use the local language (e.g. "Softwareentwickler" for Germany).

## `locations` (type: `array`):

Optional cities or regions, e.g. "New York". Every keyword is searched in every location. Leave empty to search the whole country.

## `country` (type: `string`):

Google domain and language to use. Use the local language in your keywords for DE, FR, ES and IT.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many unique jobs (1-5000).

## `datePosted` (type: `string`):

English-language countries only (US, UK, CA, AU, IN).

## `employmentTypes` (type: `array`):

English-language countries only. Each type runs as its own search.

## `remoteOnly` (type: `boolean`):

English-language countries only.

## `expandSearches` (type: `boolean`):

Google caps how deep one search goes. When enabled and Max jobs is not reached, the actor automatically runs variations (full time, contract, remote, recent...) and removes duplicates. English-language countries only.

## `maxPagesPerQuery` (type: `integer`):

Each page holds about 10 jobs.

## `salaryOnly` (type: `boolean`):

Keep only jobs that list a salary or pay range.

## `companyFilter` (type: `array`):

Keep jobs whose company name contains any of these texts.

## `excludeCompanies` (type: `array`):

Drop jobs whose company name contains any of these texts.

## `viaFilter` (type: `array`):

e.g. LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor. Matches the listing source or any apply link.

## `excludeVia` (type: `array`):

Drop jobs whose listing source (the "via" board) contains any of these texts.

## `onlyNewJobs` (type: `boolean`):

Skips jobs already returned by earlier runs that use the same State key.

## `stateKey` (type: `string`):

Name of the saved history for "Only new jobs". Use a different key per tracked search.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Residential proxy is required for the browser mode; the actor picks an IP from the selected country.

## `debug` (type: `boolean`):

Stores the raw Google HTML of the first pages of each search in the key-value store. Only for troubleshooting.
