## Pricing

from $21.00 / 1,000 company with signals

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## Security and AI Buying Signals

For teams that sell to security and AI buyers. Give it a list of company domains. Get back one row
per company with the dated buying signals we have detected for it, each with a source link, ready
to drop into a Clay table or a CRM.

### What you get

Each signal has a date and a source link:

| Type | What it is |
| --- | --- |
| `news` | Classified company news (AI adoption, security events, funding, leadership, hiring surges) |
| `hiring` | Open roles that point at a buying need, with title, seniority and job link |
| `ai_agent_development` | Evidence the company is building AI agents |
| `security_investment_10k` | Security investment stated in the latest 10-K, with the quote |
| `ai_investment_10k` | AI investment stated in the latest 10-K, with the quote |
| `cyber_incident_8k` | Material cybersecurity incident disclosed in an 8-K |

### Coverage

Signals come from the companies we track: about 37,000 domains have at least one signal, and about
7,500 have one in the last 90 days. A domain outside that set returns `found: false` and costs
nothing. For any other domain, use **Company News Research**, which searches live.

### Pricing

| Event | Price | When |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `company-signals` | USD 0.03 (USD 30 per 1,000) | Per company with at least one signal in the window |

A domain with no signals costs nothing. Example: 1,000 domains, 200 with signals = USD 6.

### Input

| Field | Default | Notes |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `domains` | | Domains, website URLs or work emails |
| `types` | all | Any of `news`, `hiring`, `ai_agent_development`, `security_investment_10k`, `ai_investment_10k`, `cyber_incident_8k` |
| `days` | 90 | Signal window, 1 to 365 |

### Using it from Clay

Add an Apify enrichment, pick this actor, map your domain column to `domains`, and read the
columns you need from the result (`signal_count`, `latest_signal_date`, `latest_signal_type`,
`signals`).
