## Changelog

All notable changes to the Shopify App Store Scraper are listed here. The version number is the
`version` field of `.actor/actor.json`.

### 0.1 - 2026-10-30

First release.

- Scrapes apps.shopify.com (server-rendered HTML, Cheerio): category landing pages, complete
category listings (`/categories/<slug>/all`, 24 apps per page), developer pages
(`/partners/<name>`), collection pages, the HTML sitemap (every category) and individual app
pages. Keyword search is refused because the Store's robots.txt disallows `*q=*`.
- Output per app: name, slug, URL, listing status, developer (name, Store page, website), rating,
review count, rating distribution, pricing (summary, free plan / free to install / free trial
flags, trial days, lowest paid price, every plan card with features), categories, feature tags,
Built for Shopify badge, launch date, languages, "Works with" integrations, icon, tagline,
description, highlights, screenshots, scrape timestamp. JSON-LD is preferred where present.
- Optional reviews (`includeReviews`, `maxReviewsPerApp`, `sortBy` newest/relevance): one item per
  review with rating, date, text, country, time using the app, developer reply and reply date;
the reviewing store's name only with `includeReviewerStoreName`.
- Limits: `maxApps` (default 200, 0 = all), `maxReviewsPerApp` (default 50, 0 = all).
- Politeness and reliability: 3 concurrent requests, 300-800 ms per-host jitter, exponential
backoff with new proxy sessions on 429/5xx (5 retries), repeated-page detection for listings and
reviews, retry-safe dataset bookkeeping, graceful stop at the maximum cost per run, clear run
summary; blocked `/all` listings never lose the apps already found.
- No personal data: support e-mails and postal addresses on the pages are never collected.
- Pay-per-event pricing: dataset items charged automatically, optional `actor-start` event.
