## Pricing

from $1.55 / 1,000 facebook reels

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## Facebook Reels Scraper: Videos, Views & Audio

**Facebook reels scraper** for creators, brands and analysts: paste a Facebook page (or single reel links) and get
every reel of its Reels tab, newest first, with its **caption, exact play count, likes, comments, shares, date,
length, MP4 and audio links, DASH manifest and qualities, captions and a plain-text transcript, sound and remix
info**. No login, no cookies, no browser.

Collected 2026-10-18.

### What you get

- **Every reel of a page:** its whole Reels tab, newest first, as deep as you ask (or a date window).
- **Exact counts, bound to the reel's own video:** plays (not the rounded "24K" the tab shows, which is in
`playCountRounded` too), likes and each reaction type, comments, shares, Facebook's post views.
- **The video:** MP4 in HD and SD, the separate audio track, the DASH manifest with every quality (360p ... 1080p),
width, height and length, the cover image.
- **Captions:** the captions file and its language(s), and the captions as plain text (`transcriptText`, free).
- **Sound and remix:** the sound's title and id, original audio or not, remix setting, reshare and its original
  creator.
- **Caption details:** hashtags, mentions, links, collaborators, paid-partnership flag, the top comments.
- **Author:** page name, id, link, picture, verified badge, followers, Ad Library id.
- **Drop-in for apify/facebook-reels-scraper:** its input keys (`startUrls`, `resultsLimit`,
`onlyPostsNewerThan`) work as is, and every key of its rows is here under its own name (`post_id`, `message`,
  `playback_video`, `video_owner`, `soundtrack_info`, `track_title`, `remix_info`, `play_count`...).

### How to use it

1. Add pages (`https://www.facebook.com/natgeo`, `.../natgeo/reels/`, or just `natgeo`) and/or reel links
   (`facebook.com/reel/...`, `/videos/...`, `watch/?v=...`, share links, `fb.watch/...`).
2. **Max reels per page:** how many reels to read from each page, newest first (empty = all of them).
3. Optional: **Reels newer than** / **Reels older than** (a date, or e.g. `30 days`).
4. Run. One row per reel; a reel given twice (on its page and as a link) is one row.

A page Facebook shows as "content isn't available" (deleted, or restricted for logged-out visitors) fails its input
and costs nothing; a post link without a video isn't a reel.

### Pricing

Pay per reel in your dataset, nothing else: no start fee, transcripts included.

| Plan | Free | Starter | Scale | Business |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Per 1,000 reels | $2.98 | $2.49 | $1.99 | $1.55 |

Each reel is charged once per run, also across restarts. Summary records (OUTPUT) are never charged.

### Output fields

  `video`, `play_count`, `play_count_reduced`, `attachments`, `tracking`, `self_view_boost`,
  `if_should_change_url_for_reels`, `shareable_url`, `playback_video`, `video_owner`, `video_owner_type`,
  `fb_shorts_reshare_context`, `remix_info`, `soundtrack_info`, `track_title`, `music_album_art_uri`,

  `encrypted_tracking`, `encrypted_click_tracking`, `debug_info`, `click_tracking_linkshim_cb` and the
  `can_viewer_*` flags (`attachments` leave out the delivery block they repeat from `playback_video`;
`is_passive_content` and `fb_reel_react_button` aren't in the logged-out answers this Actor reads, so they stay
  empty)
- `scrapedAt`: when the run read the reel

Views: 📊 Overview, 📈 Stats, 🎬 Video Files, 🗒️ Captions, 🎵 Sound & Remix. The run's OUTPUT record says, per input,
how many reels were read and delivered, why it stopped, and what failed.

# Actor input Schema

## `startUrls` (type: `array`):

A page or profile (<code>https://www.facebook.com/natgeo</code>, or just <code>natgeo</code>) for its Reels tab, newest first; or single reels: reel, video, watch, share and fb.watch links.

## `resultsLimit` (type: `integer`):

Reels to read from each page, newest first, e.g. 100. Empty = every reel on the page's Reels tab. A reel link is always one reel.

## `onlyPostsNewerThan` (type: `string`):

Only reels posted after this date, e.g. 2026-09-01 or 30 days. The run stops reading a page at its first older reels. Empty = any date.

## `captionText` (type: `boolean`):

Adds transcriptText: each reel's captions as plain text, when the reel has captions. Free.

## `onlyPostsOlderThan` (type: `string`):

Only reels posted before this date, e.g. 2026-01-01 or 1 year. Empty = up to now.

## `maxConcurrency` (type: `integer`):

Calls at once (a Reels tab page's 10 post reads, the next pages' alongside).

## `residentialFallback` (type: `boolean`):

Calls every datacenter IP refused are asked again on residential IPs.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Leave as is: Apify Proxy datacenter IPs read every reel.
