## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Greenhouse Jobs Scraper

Greenhouse runs the careers pages of companies like Stripe, Figma and Airbnb. Give this Actor a board name such as `stripe`, or the board's URL, and it returns every open job with its title, department, office locations, remote flag, posting date and full description.

Greenhouse publishes each board's jobs openly so companies can embed them on their own sites. That feed is what the Actor reads, so the results match the careers page. On 27 September Stripe had 701 open jobs, Figma 163 and Airbnb 159, and each board came back in a few seconds. Greenhouse has no salary field, but many US listings write the pay range into the description, and the Actor turns those into numbers: 108 of Figma's jobs had one, and 126 of Airbnb's.

### What you get for each job

- Company name as Greenhouse shows it, job title and department
- The main location plus every office the job is listed under, and a remote flag
- First publish date and last update date
- Job page URL and the full description as plain text
- A salary range, when one is written in the description

### Input

```json
{
    "companies": [
        "stripe",
        "https://job-boards.greenhouse.io/figma"
    ],
    "keywords": [
        "engineer"
    ],
    "locations": [
        "Remote",
        "New York"
    ],
    "onlyNewJobs": false
}
```

Filter by title keywords, location, remote only or posting date. Turn on `onlyNewJobs` and schedule the Actor to get just the roles that opened since the last run.

### Output

```json
{
    "company": "Figma",
    "ats": "greenhouse",
    "jobId": "6150563004",
    "title": "Director, People Partners - Product, Design & Engineering",
    "department": "People",
    "location": "San Francisco, CA",
    "remote": false,
    "salary": {
        "min": 235000,
        "max": 317000,
        "currency": "USD",
        "interval": null,
        "text": "$235,000-$317,000"
    },
    "postedAt": "2026-08-21T22:09:25.000Z",
    "updatedAt": "2026-08-24T23:43:59.000Z",
    "url": "https://boards.greenhouse.io/figma/jobs/6150563004?gh_jid=6150563004"
}
```

### Pricing

You pay $0.001 per job, so a 700-job board like Stripe's costs $0.70. Keyword, location and date filters run before anything is charged, and a board that can't be read shows up as an error row at no cost. Apify adds $0.00005 per run for starting the Actor.

### Limits

- Only Greenhouse boards. A Lever or Workday link is reported as an error row that names the system; Career Site Jobs Scraper reads seven systems with the same output.
- Salary shows up only when the company writes a range into the description. Stripe does it for 24 of its 701 jobs, so expect gaps outside US listings.

### Changelog

- 2026-09-27: first version.

# Actor input Schema

## `companies` (type: `array`):

Greenhouse job boards, one per line: a board URL (boards.greenhouse.io/stripe, job-boards.greenhouse.io/figma) or just the board name (stripe). A company domain works too when its careers page links to Greenhouse. Up to 200 per run.

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

Keep jobs whose title contains any of these words, for example engineer or sales. Empty keeps all jobs.

## `locations` (type: `array`):

Keep jobs whose location contains any of these, for example London, Germany or Remote. Empty keeps all.

## `remoteOnly` (type: `boolean`):

Keep only jobs the company marks as remote.

## `postedWithinDays` (type: `integer`):

Keep jobs posted in the last N days. 0 keeps all.

## `onlyNewJobs` (type: `boolean`):

For scheduled runs: return only jobs that were not open the last time this ran. The list of seen jobs is kept in a key-value store called career-site-jobs-seen in your account.

## `includeDescription` (type: `boolean`):

Full description text. Workday, SmartRecruiters and Workable need one extra request per job for it, so turning it off makes big runs faster.

## `maxJobsPerCompany` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many matching jobs per company.
