## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Lever Jobs Scraper

Lever powers the job boards at jobs.lever.co for companies such as Palantir and Spotify. Point this Actor at a board, by name (`palantir`) or by URL, and it returns every open role: title, team, department, location, onsite or remote, commitment, creation date and the full description.

Lever has a salary field, but most companies write the pay range into the description instead. The Actor reads both and returns the range as numbers. On 27 September that gave a range for 205 of Palantir's 321 jobs, every one of them taken from the description text, and the whole board came back in a single request. Boards on the EU instance (jobs.eu.lever.co) work the same way.

### What you get for each job

- Job title, team, department and commitment (full time, contract and so on)
- Location, all locations for multi-site roles, workplace type and a remote flag
- Salary range from Lever's pay field, or from the description text
- Creation date, hosted job page and apply link
- The full description, including Lever's requirement lists, as plain text

### Input

```json
{
    "companies": [
        "palantir",
        "https://jobs.lever.co/spotify"
    ],
    "keywords": [
        "engineer"
    ],
    "remoteOnly": false,
    "postedWithinDays": 30
}
```

### Output

```json
{
    "company": "spotify",
    "ats": "lever",
    "title": "Engineering Manager - Data Platform",
    "department": "Engineering",
    "team": "Platform",
    "location": "London",
    "remote": true,
    "workplaceType": "remote",
    "employmentType": "Permanent",
    "salary": null,
    "postedAt": "2026-07-21T13:57:00.362Z",
    "url": "https://jobs.lever.co/spotify/abcc8b41-7553-4054-b5eb-8d3e49e00e25"
}
```

### Pricing

Each job costs $0.001: Palantir's full board of 321 jobs comes to $0.32. Filtered-out jobs and error rows are free, and Apify adds $0.00005 per run to start the Actor. A maximum charge per run in the run options stops it cleanly at your limit.

### Limits

- Reads Lever boards only; Career Site Jobs Scraper covers six other systems too.
- The company name is the board ID, like `palantir`, since Lever's feed has no display name.
- Lever publishes when a job was created but not when it was last edited.
- A salary appears only when the company entered one or wrote it in the description.

### Changelog

- 2026-09-27: first version.

# Actor input Schema

## `companies` (type: `array`):

Lever job boards, one per line: a board URL (jobs.lever.co/palantir) or just the board name (palantir). EU boards (jobs.eu.lever.co) work too. A company domain works when its careers page links to Lever. Up to 200 per run.

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

Keep jobs whose title contains any of these words, for example engineer or sales. Empty keeps all jobs.

## `locations` (type: `array`):

Keep jobs whose location contains any of these, for example London, Germany or Remote. Empty keeps all.

## `remoteOnly` (type: `boolean`):

Keep only jobs the company marks as remote.

## `postedWithinDays` (type: `integer`):

Keep jobs posted in the last N days. 0 keeps all.

## `onlyNewJobs` (type: `boolean`):

For scheduled runs: return only jobs that were not open the last time this ran. The list of seen jobs is kept in a key-value store called career-site-jobs-seen in your account.

## `includeDescription` (type: `boolean`):

Full description text. Workday, SmartRecruiters and Workable need one extra request per job for it, so turning it off makes big runs faster.

## `maxJobsPerCompany` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many matching jobs per company.
