## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## StockX Scraper

Paste any StockX search, brand, category, or browse URL and get every listing on it with live market data: lowest ask, highest bid, last sale, sales counts, price premium, and volatility. Sneakers, apparel, accessories, electronics, collectibles, trading cards, watches, and handbags.

The scraper talks to StockX's product API directly instead of rendering pages. No browser, no login, about one second per 40 listings.

### Features

- **Any StockX listing URL as input.** Build the search or filter on stockx.com, copy the address, paste it. Every filter and sort you set on the site is applied.
- **Full market data per listing.** Lowest ask and highest bid with timestamps, last sale, 72 hour, 90 day, and annual sales counts, average prices, price premium, and volatility.
- **Ask counts per shipping level.** Standard, express standard, express expedited, and next day, each with count and lowest price.
- **Region and currency.** Prices in the market and currency you choose, for example DE and EUR.
- **Result position.** Every row records its position in the StockX ranking and which start URL produced it, so sorted runs stay comparable over time.
- **Fast and cheap.** API based, 40 listings per request, runs on the smallest memory setting.

### Use cases

| Who                       | What for                                                                                            |
| ------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Resellers | Track lowest ask, highest bid, and last sale for a brand or model to spot arbitrage and price drops |
| Market research | Monitor demand across brands, categories, and regions with sales counts and price premium |
| Price comparison and apps | Feed clean StockX JSON into your own tools via the Apify API |
| Collectors | Watch a saved search for new releases and price movement |

### Pricing

Pay per result with no start fee: **$0.001 per listing delivered**, so 1,000 listings cost $1. If the Actor delivers no listings, there is no Actor charge. If the run's maximum charge is reached, the Actor delivers the paid prefix and stops before requesting another page.

### Input

| Field       | Type    | Description                                                                                                                                             |
| ----------- | ------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `startUrls` | array | StockX URLs to scrape. Paths `/search`, `/brands/...`, `/category/...`, and `/browse/...` are supported, with any filters and sort in the query string. |
| `limit` | integer | Maximum listings per URL. Leave empty to scrape everything. StockX caps every listing page at 1,000 results. |
| `country`   | string  | Market region, for example `US`, `DE`, `GB`. Default `US`.                                                                                              |
| `currency`  | string  | Price currency, for example `USD`, `EUR`, `GBP`. Default `USD`.                                                                                         |

Example input:

```json
{
  "startUrls": [
    { "url": "https://stockx.com/search?s=yeezy" },
    { "url": "https://stockx.com/brands/adidas?category=sneakers&gender=men&lowest-ask-range=100-200&sort=lowest_ask" }
  ],
  "limit": 200,
  "country": "US",
  "currency": "USD"
}
```

#### Building URLs

Every query parameter in a start URL is passed to StockX as a filter, so anything you can select on stockx.com works. Verified parameters:

- `category`, `gender`, `brand`, `color`, `model`, `product-line`, `shoe-height`, `activity`, `season`. Multiple values are comma separated, for example `gender=men,unisex`.
- `available-now=true`, `xpress-ship=true`, `below-retail=true`.
- Sizes: `mens-shoe-size`, `womens-shoe-size`, `kids-shoe-size`, `mens-apparel-size`, `womens-apparel-size`, `kids-apparel-size`, for example `mens-shoe-size=US+M+10`.
- Price range: `lowest-ask-range=100-200`.
- Sort: `featured`, `most-active`, `lowest_ask`, `highest_bid`, `recent_bids`, `recent_asks`, `deadstock_sold`, `release_date`, `price_premium`, `last_sale`.

Examples:

- `https://stockx.com/search?s=jordan%201&sort=release_date`
- `https://stockx.com/category/sneakers?brand=nike,jordan&available-now=true`
- `https://stockx.com/browse/women?category=apparel&season=fw26`
- `https://stockx.com/brands/supreme?sort=deadstock_sold`
- `https://stockx.com/category/watches?sort=deadstock_sold`

### Output

One dataset row per listing. `position` is the rank on StockX and `input` names the start URL's search and filters. Sponsored placements StockX mixes into result pages are left out.

The product page URL is `https://stockx.com/` followed by `urlKey`. Amounts are in the requested currency.

### Export and integrations

Download results as JSON, CSV, Excel, or XML from the run's dataset, or fetch them with the [Apify API](https://docs.apify.com/api/v2). Push runs to Google Sheets, Airtable, Zapier, Make, or a webhook with [Apify integrations](https://docs.apify.com/platform/integrations), and schedule runs to track prices over time.

### How it works

1. Each start URL is mapped to a StockX listing flow (search, brand, category, or browse) and its query string is turned into StockX filters.
2. The scraper calls StockX's listing API page by page, 40 listings per request, until the limit or the end of results.
3. Every listing is written to the dataset unchanged, plus `position` and `input`.

### FAQ

**Which URLs work?** Any stockx.com URL whose path starts with `/search`, `/brands/`, `/category/`, or `/browse/`. Product pages are not supported.

**Why do I get at most 1,000 results per URL?** StockX stops paginating at 1,000 listings. Split broad queries with filters, for example by category, gender, or price range, to go deeper.

**Do I need a StockX account?** No. The scraper only reads public listing data.

**Are per-size prices included?** No. Rows carry product level market data and the variant ids. Per-size asks and bids are not part of listing pages.

**Which proxy is used?** Apify Proxy's datacenter pool, managed by the Actor, with a fresh IP for every page request. There is nothing to configure. Runs fail fast with a clear message if StockX changes its API.

**Is this legal?** The scraper collects publicly available data and no personal information. You are responsible for complying with StockX's terms and applicable law.
