## Pricing

Pay per event + usage

This Actor is paid per event and usage. You are charged both the fixed price for specific events and for Apify platform usage.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## App Store Intelligence – Apps, Ratings, Top Charts & Reviews

Apple App Store data from **Apple's official endpoints** (iTunes Search/Lookup API and App Store RSS feeds), in four modes:

1. **Search apps** by keyword (with ranking position): ASO research and competitor discovery.
2. **App details** by App Store URL, ID or bundle ID: rating, rating count, current-version rating, price, version, release notes, update date, category, size, languages, content rating.
3. **Top charts:** top free, paid, grossing (iPhone and iPad) by **country** and **category**, enriched with full app details.
4. **Reviews:** star rating, title, text, app version, date, helpful votes, with **no reviewer names**. Filter by stars (e.g. only 1–2 star complaints), and **only-new** mode for review monitoring.

Built for app marketers and ASO specialists, product teams watching competitors, investors and market researchers.

```
### Output (app)
```json
{
  "rank": 2,
  "appId": "1001006017",
  "name": "EveryDollar: Budget Management",
  "bundleId": "…",
  "developer": "The Lampo Group Incorporated",
  "country": "us",
  "price": 0.0,
  "currency": "USD",

```
### Pricing (pay per event + usage)
| Event | Price | When |
|---|---|---|
| `apify-actor-start` | $0.001 | Once per run |
| `app` | $0.0008 | One app record |
| `review` | $0.0004 | One review |
| `query` | $0.0003 | Each request to Apple (search, lookup of up to 150 apps, chart, or a page of 50 reviews) |
Example: top 100 finance apps in the US ≈ $0.08. 500 latest reviews of one app ≈ $0.20. Plus Apify platform usage, typically under a cent per run.
### Notes
Apple serves the 500 most recent reviews per app and country, and limits request rates, so the Actor paces itself at one request every ~3 seconds. Google Play has no official public API, so it's not included.
