## Pricing

Pay per event + usage

This Actor is paid per event and usage. You are charged both the fixed price for specific events and for Apify platform usage.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Shopify Store Products & Price Tracker

Every product, variant, price, sale price and stock status from **any Shopify store**, using the store's own public product feed (`products.json`). Switch to **changes-only** mode and schedule it to get just the **new products, price changes, stock changes and removals** since the last run.

Built for e-commerce teams, brands and resellers watching competitors, price-comparison sites, and market researchers.

- **Fast and cheap:** 1,432 products from two stores in about 5 seconds in testing.
- **Clean schema:** title, vendor, type, tags, min/max price, on-sale flag, in-stock flag, variants (SKU, options, price, compare-at price, availability), image, URL, dates.
- **Changes-only mode:** the first run saves a baseline. Later runs return change records such as `price-change` (old vs new), `back-in-stock`, `out-of-stock`, `new-product`, `new-variant`, `variant-removed` and `product-removed`.
- **Product or variant rows:** variant rows are flat, so they work well in a spreadsheet.
- Stores that block their product feed are reported clearly, not silently skipped.

### Input

```json
{"stores": ["allbirds.com", "colourpop.com"], "mode": "changes-only", "outputLevel": "product"}
```

| Field | Default | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| `stores` | – | Store domains (up to 500) |
| `mode` | all-products | or `changes-only` |
| `outputLevel` | product | or `variant` |
| `keywords` / `productTypes` | – | Filters |
| `maxProductsPerStore` | 5000 | Up to 25,000 |

### Output (changes-only example)

```json
{
  "store": "https://allbirds.com",
  "productId": "6617826066512",
  "title": "Women's Allbirds Flip Flop - Dusty Pink",
  "vendor": "Allbirds",
  "minPrice": 40.0,
  "maxPrice": 40.0,
  "onSale": true,
  "available": true,
  "variants": [{"variantId": "396…", "title": "6", "sku": "…", "price": 40.0, "compareAtPrice": 50.0, "available": true, "options": ["6"]}],
  "url": "https://allbirds.com/products/womens-allbirds-flip-flop-dusty-pink",
  "changes": [{"type": "price-change", "variantId": "396…", "oldPrice": 50.0, "newPrice": 40.0}]
}
```

### Pricing (pay per event + usage)

| Event | Price | When |
|---|---|---|
| `apify-actor-start` | $0.001 | Once per run |
| `product` | $0.0002 | One product, variant or change record ($0.20 per 1,000) |
| `products-scanned` | $0.0003 | Each page of up to 250 products read |

Example: a full 1,000-product catalogue ≈ $0.20. A daily changes-only watch of a 1,000-product store with 10 changes ≈ $0.004 a day. Plus Apify platform usage, typically well under a cent per run.
