##### 2026-10-11

*Changes*

- Requests to the Apple directory now come from one address at Apple's pace of about 20 a minute, and podcast pages at 2 a second. After a rate limit the actor waits and slows down, and if Apple keeps limiting it or refuses access, it stops asking Apple instead of switching IP addresses and returns what it collected.

*Fixes*

- Charts now come from Apple's official chart feed, which lists up to 100 shows per chart. A larger chart size returns 100.
- A chart genre now returns the shows of that genre found in the overall top 100, numbered in chart order, because the feed has no genre charts. Genres now work with the top subscriber chart too.
- Episode keywords match whole words and phrases, so `ai` no longer keeps every episode whose notes contain `said`. Named and numeric HTML entities such as `…` and `'` are decoded in episode titles and show notes.

##### 2026-09-30

*Fixes*

- In new-only mode, shows and episodes cut off by **Maximum rows** or the spending limit arrive in the next run. They used to be marked as seen and were never returned.

##### 2026-09-28

*Changes*

- Search terms are also accepted as `query`, `q`, `search`, `searchTerms` or `term`, and feed URLs as `url`, `urls`, `startUrls`, `feed`, `feedUrls`, `rss` or `rssUrls`.

##### 2026-09-27

*Changes*

- The watch field is now called `watchName`. Inputs that use the old name `watchKey` still work.

##### 2026-09-24

*Changes*

- Lower prices on every plan.

##### 2026-09-23

*Features*

- First version: Apple Podcasts search, top charts by country and genre, shows by link, Apple ID or feed URL, ratings from the show page, episodes from each show's RSS feed with the Apple directory as a fallback, and a new-only mode.
