- A CNPJ held by a person who is not a sole trader or MEI, such as an election candidate or a rural producer (legal nature codes starting with 4), comes back with `entityType` `natural_person` and without name, trade name, street, district, postcode, phone and email. Such rows used to show the person's name like a company name.
- Phone numbers that Receita Federal stores with a leading zero, such as `01130974322`, read `+55 11 3097-4322`; they used to read `+55 01 13097-4322`. A phone number made only of zeros is left empty.

- First version: Brazilian companies by CNPJ, also alphanumeric, from Receita Federal open data through BrasilAPI with Minha Receita as a fallback. Each row has the legal and trade name, status with date and reason, special situation, legal nature, size, share capital, CNAE activities, address, Simples Nacional and MEI status, tax regime by year, the number of partners and risk flags.
- Check digits are verified before any lookup, and invalid or unknown CNPJs are not charged.
- Names and contact details of sole traders and MEI are withheld, and partner names are never collected.
- A watch name compares each run with the previous one and stores the differences in the `CHANGES` record.
