## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Foundit Jobs Scraper: Jobs in India, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Hong Kong and the Gulf

Export jobs from **Foundit** (formerly Monster India, Monster Gulf and Monster Asia), one of the largest job boards in India with around 280,000 open jobs, plus its sites for Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Hong Kong and the Gulf. Search by keywords, locations, experience and posting date, or paste a Foundit search link, and get every job with the **salary as numbers**, the **experience range**, skills, industry and function, the **number of applicants and views**, the **full description** and the **company profile**. A watch name turns it into a daily job alert.

You pay only for jobs returned, from $0.25 per 1,000, with no start fee. The $5 of monthly credit in Apify's Free plan covers about 10,000 jobs, so you can try it for free.

### Why use Foundit Jobs Scraper?

- **Six countries, one table.** India, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Hong Kong and the Gulf share the same fields, with salaries in local currency.
- **Experience and salary as numbers.** Minimum and maximum years and the annual salary range, ready to filter and compare.
- **Demand signals.** Applicants and views per job, urgent hiring, Great Place to Work companies and the closing date.
- **The whole job.** Full description as text and HTML, skills, roles, functions, industries and the company profile.
- **Job alerts.** New-only mode with a watch name returns only jobs you have not seen before; schedule it daily.
- **Several times cheaper, no start fee.** You pay per job only, with full details included.

### Tips and limitations

- Foundit shows at most 10,000 jobs per search; for broad searches split by location, experience or posting date. The run log says when a search is larger.
- Salaries are per year in the local currency; most employers in India hide them, so expect a salary on a minority of rows.
- For filters the form does not have, set them on Foundit and paste the address into **Search links**.
- Names and contact details of recruiters are not collected.
- For internships and fresher jobs in India, see our Internshala Scraper; for Australia and more of Asia, our SEEK and JobStreet scrapers.

### Integrations and API

Connect the actor to **Make**, **Zapier**, **n8n**, **Google Sheets**, **Slack** or any webhook, or call it from your own code. With the Python client:

```python
from apify_client import ApifyClient
client = ApifyClient("<YOUR_API_TOKEN>")
run = client.actor("deriverge/foundit-jobs-scraper").call(run_input={"site": "SG", "keywords": ["software engineer"], "sortBy": "date", "maxItems": 200})
for j in client.dataset(run["defaultDatasetId"]).iterate_items():
    print(j["title"], j["company"], j["salaryText"], j["applicants"], j["url"])
```

The **API** tab on this page has the same call for Node.js and cURL, and AI agents can run the actor through the Apify MCP server.

### Is it legal to scrape Foundit?

The scraper reads job ads that Foundit shows publicly to every visitor, at a moderate pace, and collects no personal data of recruiters or candidates. Job ads are business information. Check the terms before republishing descriptions, and link back to the job page.

# Actor input Schema

## `site` (type: `string`):

Which Foundit site to search. Search links below can point to any of them.

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

What to search for, as in the Foundit search box: a job title, skill or company, for example "data analyst", "java" or "sales manager". Each keyword is its own search. Leave empty for all jobs.

## `countries` (type: `array`):

Only jobs in these countries, as Foundit writes them, for example United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia or Qatar on the Gulf site, or Singapore on the Singapore site.

## `locations` (type: `array`):

Cities or regions as Foundit writes them, for example Bengaluru, Pune, Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur or Dubai. A job in any of them matches.

## `minExperience` (type: `integer`):

Only jobs asking for at least this many years of experience.

## `maxExperience` (type: `integer`):

Only jobs asking for at most this many years; 0 to 2 finds fresher and junior jobs.

## `postedWithinDays` (type: `string`):

Only jobs posted or refreshed within this period.

## `workFromHome` (type: `boolean`):

Only remote jobs.

## `sortBy` (type: `string`):

Order of the results, as on Foundit.

## `searchUrls` (type: `array`):

Foundit search addresses with your filters, for example https://www.foundit.in/srp/results?query=react\&locations=Pune or https://www.foundit.sg/search/data-analyst-jobs-in-singapore. Each link is its own search.

## `excludeKeywords` (type: `array`):

Drop jobs whose title or company contains any of these.

## `includeDetails` (type: `boolean`):

Opens each job for the full description (text and HTML), the company profile, cities, states and countries, and the number of views. The price is the same.

## `newOnly` (type: `boolean`):

Keeps a snapshot per watch name (or per saved task) and returns only jobs that were not there before. Schedule it daily for a job alert.

## `watchName` (type: `string`):

Name of the snapshot used by the new-only mode, for example "python-pune". Runs from a saved task get one automatically.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Hard cap on returned jobs. Foundit shows up to 10,000 jobs per search; when the cap is smaller, every search gets an equal share.
