## Pricing

from $0.15 / 1,000 jobs

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Instahyre Jobs Scraper

Instahyre (instahyre.com) is an Indian job platform whose public search listed 12,966 jobs on 30 September 2026. This actor returns one row per job with the company context Instahyre shows next to it: tagline, a short profile, founding year and size band, plus the job's cities, remote work and skill tags. Type a skill such as `python` or pick a job function, then click **Start**. The public search carries no job descriptions and no salaries, so the rows have neither. It costs $0.30 per 1,000 jobs on the Free plan ($0.15 on Business), and the $5 of monthly credit in Apify's Free plan covers about 16,000 jobs.

### What is in each row?

| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| `title`, `url` | Job title as the employer wrote it, and the job page on instahyre.com. |
| `company`, `companyTagline` | Company name and the one-line tagline it gives itself, e.g. `Groceries in minutes`. |
| `companyAbout` | Short company profile that Instahyre writes. |
| `companyFounded` | Year the company was founded, e.g. `2021`. |
| `companyEmployees` | Company size as Instahyre stores it, one of `1`, `10`, `50`, `200`, `500` or `1000`. Read it as a band: Infosys and Zepto both show `1000`. |
| `locations`, `workFromHome` | Cities of the job, e.g. `Bangalore`, and `true` when the list says `Work From Home`. |
| `acceptsOtherCities` | `true` when candidates from other cities may apply and relocate. |
| `skills` | Skill tags of the job, e.g. `Django`, `FastAPI` and `PostgreSQL`. |
| `jobFunction` | The Instahyre job function the search used, e.g. `Backend Development`. Empty unless the search ran by function. |
| `diversityEmployer`, `featuredEmployer` | `true` when Instahyre shows its diversity hiring badge for the company, or lists it as a featured employer. |
| `companyLogo` | Link to the company logo. |

### How to scrape Instahyre jobs

1. Type skills or roles into **Skills or keywords**, e.g. `python`, `data science` or `product manager`. Each keyword is its own search.
2. Or pick from the 107 **Job functions**, from Backend Development to Sales / Business Development. Keywords and functions combine: every keyword runs once in each function you pick.
3. Narrow the results with **Locations**, **Work from home only**, **Your years of experience** (0 for freshers), **Company size** (small startups, medium or large), **Job type** (Full-time or Internship) and **Companies**, which needs each company's exact name on Instahyre.
4. Click **Start**. Rows appear in **Output** as the run reads Instahyre; export them as CSV, Excel or JSON, or read them through the API.

The input for small-company Python and Django jobs in two cities, as the API takes it:

```json
{
  "keywords": ["python", "django"],
  "locations": ["Bangalore", "Pune"],
  "companySize": "small",
  "experienceYears": 3,
  "maxItems": 500
}
```

### Example output

### How much does it cost to scrape Instahyre jobs?

| | Free plan | Starter | Scale | Business |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1,000 jobs | $0.30 | $0.24 | $0.195 | $0.15 |

You pay only for the events in the table. There is no start fee, and compute time and proxies are included.

Reading the whole site, 12,966 jobs on 30 September 2026, costs about $3.90 on the Free plan and $1.95 on Business. Jobs outside your **Locations**, office jobs when **Work from home only** is on, jobs matching **Exclude keywords** and jobs held back by the new-only mode are dropped before any charge.

### Limits

- Instahyre has no city filter of its own. The actor reads the search and keeps jobs in your **Locations**, matching `Bengaluru` to `Bangalore` and `Gurugram` to `Gurgaon`. A rare city therefore means reading many jobs for a few rows: in one September 2026 run, 216 of the jobs read were outside the requested Bangalore and Pune.
- The site answers about 20 requests a minute with 35 jobs each. The actor waits about 3 seconds between requests, and longer when Instahyre asks, so a run reads roughly 650 jobs a minute.
- One search stops at 10,000 jobs. When **Maximum jobs** is higher, a search without job functions is split into all 107 functions.

### Daily alerts for new Instahyre jobs

A scheduled run with **Return only jobs new since the last run** turned on returns only jobs that earlier runs under the same **Watch name** (for example `python-bangalore`) or the same saved task did not. Instahyre job IDs are remembered for 120 days after they first appear.

### FAQ

#### Is it legal to scrape Instahyre?

The actor reads the job search that instahyre.com serves to visitors who are not logged in, at the pace the site allows. The rows describe jobs and companies: that search carries no recruiter names, contact details or candidate data. You are responsible for how you use the results.

#### How many jobs does a search find?

On 29 September 2026 `python` matched 4,590 jobs. On 27 September the Backend Development function held 1,192, while `data engineer` matched 10,789, most of the site. The `SUMMARY` record of each run lists how many jobs every search matched.

# Actor input Schema

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

What to search for, as in the Instahyre search box: a skill or role, for example "react", "data science" or "product manager". Each keyword is its own search. Leave empty for all jobs.

Only jobs in these Instahyre job functions, for example Backend Development, Data Science / Machine Learning or Sales / Business Development. Each function is its own search.

## `locations` (type: `array`):

Keep only jobs in these cities, for example Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Mumbai, Gurgaon or Chennai. A job in any of them matches.

## `workFromHome` (type: `boolean`):

Only remote jobs.

## `experienceYears` (type: `integer`):

Only jobs open to candidates with this much experience, as the Instahyre experience filter; 0 for freshers.

Only jobs at companies of this size.

## `jobType` (type: `string`):

Full-time jobs or internships.

## `companies` (type: `array`):

Only jobs at these companies, by their exact Instahyre name, for example Accenture or Amazon.

## `excludeKeywords` (type: `array`):

Drop jobs whose title or company contains any of these.

## `newOnly` (type: `boolean`):

Keeps a snapshot per watch name (or per saved task) and returns only jobs that were not there before. Schedule it daily for a job alert.

## `watchName` (type: `string`):

Name of the snapshot used by the new-only mode, for example "python-bangalore". Runs from a saved task get one automatically.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Hard cap on returned jobs. Instahyre serves about 700 jobs a minute; bigger runs take longer, not more money.
