## Pricing

from $0.25 / 1,000 job returneds

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## SEEK Jobs Scraper

Export jobs from **SEEK**, the number one job board in **Australia** and **New Zealand**. Search by keywords and location, or paste a SEEK search link, and get every job with the company, location, **classification**, work type, **remote or hybrid** option, the **salary as numbers** with its period and currency, the teaser and on request the **full description**. Searches with more than 500 results are split automatically, and a watch name turns it into a daily job alert.

You pay only for jobs returned, from $0.25 per 1,000, with no start fee. The $5 of monthly credit in Apify's Free plan covers about 10,000 jobs, so you can try it for free.

### Why use SEEK Jobs Scraper?

- **Past the 500-result limit.** SEEK shows at most 500 results per search; bigger searches are split by classification and work type so you get far more.
- **Salary as numbers.** Labels like "$120,000 - $140,000 per year", "$85 per hour" or "$150k + super" become a minimum, a maximum, a period and a currency.
- **Full descriptions.** The complete ad text as plain text and HTML, plus the expiry date, at no extra cost.
- **Every filter SEEK has.** Classification, work type, remote option, listing date, salary and sort order, or simply paste your SEEK search link.
- **Job alerts.** New-only mode with a watch name returns only jobs you have not seen before; schedule it daily.
- **Cheap.** A fraction of the price of the most used SEEK scrapers, with no start fee.

- **Job boards and aggregators:** import jobs from Australia and New Zealand with full descriptions, refreshed daily.
- **HR and salary analysts:** benchmark advertised pay by role, classification and location.
- **Sales teams:** find companies that are growing and hiring as a buying signal.
- **Job seekers:** get alerts for new jobs that match your search.

### How much does it cost to scrape SEEK jobs?

You pay per result. There is no start fee and no charge for compute time or proxies.

| | Free plan | Starter | Scale | Business |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1,000 jobs | $0.50 | $0.40 | $0.33 | $0.25 |

For example, exporting 5,000 jobs with full descriptions costs $2.50 on the Free plan and $1.25 on the Business plan. The $5 of monthly credit in Apify's Free plan covers about 10,000 jobs.

Jobs removed by a filter, duplicates across searches and jobs already returned in new-only mode are never charged.

### Tips and limitations

- Many ads show a salary; the parsed numbers stay empty when the ad shows only words such as "Competitive salary package".
- Full descriptions are read at the pace SEEK allows: about 500 at once, then a pause of a few minutes, so 2,000 jobs with descriptions take about 15 minutes. Turn off full details for the fastest export.
- For very broad searches, add a location or classification: SEEK itself does not show more than 500 results per search.
- Names and contact details of recruiters are not collected.
- For jobs straight from company career sites, see our Greenhouse, Lever and Workday scrapers.

### Integrations and API

Connect the actor to **Make**, **Zapier**, **n8n**, **Google Sheets**, **Slack** or any webhook, or call it from your own code. With the Python client:

```python
from apify_client import ApifyClient
client = ApifyClient("<YOUR_API_TOKEN>")
run = client.actor("deriverge/seek-jobs-scraper").call(run_input={"keywords": "electrician", "location": "Brisbane QLD", "maxItems": 200})
for j in client.dataset(run["defaultDatasetId"]).iterate_items():
    print(j["title"], j["company"], j["salaryText"], j["url"])
```

The **API** tab on this page has the same call for Node.js and cURL, and AI agents can run the actor through the Apify MCP server.

### Is it legal to scrape SEEK?

The scraper reads job ads that SEEK shows publicly to every visitor, at a moderate pace, and collects no personal data of recruiters or candidates. Job ads are business information. Check the terms before republishing descriptions, and link back to the job page.

### FAQ

#### Which countries does it cover?

Australia, New Zealand. Pick one or several in Country.

#### Can I get all jobs in a category?

Yes. Pick the classification, leave keywords empty and set Maximum jobs high; the run splits the search by work type when needed.

#### How fresh is the data?

Live: every run reads SEEK as it is at that moment.

#### Do I need a SEEK account, proxies or an API key?

No.
