## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Workday Jobs Scraper: Any myworkdayjobs.com Career Site

**Export job postings from any company that uses Workday** (NVIDIA, Salesforce, Wells Fargo and thousands of other employers on `*.myworkdayjobs.com` and `myworkdaysite.com`) to JSON, CSV or Excel. You get the title, location (including extra locations), country code, remote flag, posted date, time type, hiring entity, apply link and the **full description** as HTML and clean text.

It uses the same public JSON endpoints the career site itself calls in your browser. There's no login and no headless browser, so it's fast and cheap.

- ✅ **Paste the URL you see in the browser.** Filters set on the career site (`?locations=…&jobFamilyGroup=…`) are kept automatically.
- ✅ **Smart location filter:** `"locations": ["Germany", "Remote"]` maps to Workday's own location filters, so only matching jobs are downloaded.
- ✅ **Search, title keywords and excludes, and `postedWithinDays`.**
- ✅ **Monitoring (`onlyNew`):** remembers jobs already returned. A daily schedule gives only new postings, which suits job alerts, recruiting and sales-trigger lists.
- ✅ **Fast mode:** turn off `includeDescription` for a quick list (20 jobs per request).
- ✅ **Many companies in one run**, plus a **REST API (Standby):** `GET /?careerSites=<url>&searchText=python&maxJobsPerSite=50`.

### Use cases

Job boards and aggregators · recruiting and sourcing · hiring-signal lead generation ("who is hiring data engineers in Germany") · labour-market research · personal job alerts.

### Input

```json
{
  "careerSites": ["https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite", "https://salesforce.wd12.myworkdayjobs.com/External_Career_Site"],
  "locations": ["Germany"],
  "keywords": ["engineer"],
  "postedWithinDays": 7,
  "maxJobsPerSite": 200
}
```

### Output (one item per job)

```json
{
  "company": "nvidia",
  "careerSite": "https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite",
  "jobId": "JR2028407",
  "title": "Technical Lead - ADAS Test Bench",
  "url": "https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite/job/Germany-Munich/Technical-Lead---ADAS-Test-Bench_JR2028407",
  "locationsText": "Germany, Munich",
  "postedOn": "Posted Today",
  "postedDaysAgo": 0,
  "location": "Germany, Munich",
  "additionalLocations": [],
  "country": "Germany",
  "countryCode": "DE",
  "remote": null,
  "timeType": "Full time",
  "startDate": "2026-10-27",
  "postedDate": "2026-10-27",
  "hiringOrganization": "DE01 NVIDIA Germany",
  "applyUrl": "https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite/job/Germany-Munich/Technical-Lead---ADAS-Test-Bench_JR2028407/apply",
  "descriptionHtml": "<p>NVIDIA is shaping the future of autonomous driving. Our Automotive Software team in Mun …",
  "descriptionText": "NVIDIA is shaping the future of autonomous driving. Our Automotive Software team in Munich delivers cutting-edge autonomous driving solutions to leading global OEMs.\n\nAs the primar …",
  "error": null
}
```

*(Real output from a cloud test run on 27 Oct 2026. The description is shortened.)*

### Notes

- `postedDate` is calculated from Workday's "Posted N Days Ago". For "30+ Days Ago" it is `null`, and `postedDaysAgo` is 31.
- Some sites show `locationsText: "3 Locations"`. The full list is in `location` + `additionalLocations` when the description is on.
- Wrong or closed career sites return a free error row.
- **How do I find a company's Workday URL?** Open its careers page and click a job. If the address contains `myworkdayjobs.com`, copy it up to the site name.

### Pricing

Pay per job returned. Error rows are free.

### Responsible use

It collects only public job postings. Respect each employer's terms and don't overload career sites (the actor limits itself to 5 parallel requests per site). Issues and requests: the *Issues* tab.

# Actor input Schema

## `careerSites` (type: `array`):

One URL per company, e.g. https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite or https://wd1.myworkdaysite.com/recruiting/wf/WellsFargoJobs. Tip: set filters on the career site in your browser, then paste that URL; the filters are kept.

## `searchText` (type: `string`):

Same as the search box on the career site (e.g. data engineer).

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

Whole words, e.g. engineer, analyst.

## `excludeKeywords` (type: `array`):

e.g. senior, intern.

## `locations` (type: `array`):

Countries or cities, e.g. Germany, Remote, London. Matched to the site's own location filters when possible (fast), otherwise to the job location text.

## `postedWithinDays` (type: `integer`):

Workday shows 'Posted N Days Ago' (max 30+). 0 = any time.

## `includeDescription` (type: `boolean`):

Adds descriptionHtml/descriptionText, country, time type, hiring entity and apply URL (one extra request per job). Turn off for a fast list.

## `maxJobsPerSite` (type: `integer`):

Upper limit per career site.

## `onlyNew` (type: `boolean`):

Remember jobs already returned; the next runs return only new ones. Use with a Schedule.

## `stateKey` (type: `string`):

Name for the 'only new' memory when you run several monitors.

## `appliedFacets` (type: `object`):

Raw Workday filters, e.g. {"jobFamilyGroup": \["<id>"]}. Usually not needed: paste a filtered URL instead.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

0 = no limit.

}
```
# Actor output Schema
