# Cross-Border Pricing & Margin Calculator (`determined_alghoza_2aj/cross-border-pricing-margin-calculator`) Actor

Upload a product catalog CSV with prices in any currencies; the tool fetches live ECB exchange rates, applies marketplace-specific fee structures (Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Shopify), and outputs a ready-to-list multi-currency catalog with per-country recommended prices, fee breakdowns, and net margins. ## Pricing

$5.00 / 1,000 result items

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Cross-Border Pricing & Margin Calculator

Upload a product catalog CSV with prices in any currencies; the tool fetches live ECB exchange rates, applies marketplace-specific fee structures (Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Shopify), and outputs a ready-to-list multi-currency catalog with per-country recommended prices, fee breakdowns, and net margins. Ideal for sellers expanding internationally who need accurate landed-cost modeling without manual spreadsheet work.

### Example input

```json
{
  "products_csv": "sku,name,price,currency,cost,cost_currency,marketplaces,target_countries\nABC123,Widget Pro,29.99,USD,12.00,USD,\"amazon,ebay\",\"DE,GB\"\nXYZ789,Gadget Plus,49.95,EUR,22.00,EUR,\"etsy,shopify\",\"US,CA\"",
  "base_currency": "USD",
  "fee_overrides": {},
  "include_vat": true
}
```

Each result item contains: sku, name, original\_price, original\_currency, cost\_base, base\_currency, marketplace, target\_country, fx\_rate, local\_price, vat\_rate, consumer\_price, referral\_fee, transaction\_fee, fixed\_fee, total\_fees, net\_revenue, margin\_pct, recommended\_price.

# Actor input Schema

## `products_csv` (type: `string`):

CSV text with columns: sku, name, price, currency, cost, cost\_currency, marketplaces (comma-separated: amazon,ebay,etsy,shopify), target\_countries (comma-separated ISO codes like US,DE,GB). At least sku, price, currency required.

## `base_currency` (type: `string`):

Currency to normalize all prices/costs into for internal calculation (ISO 4217).

## `fee_overrides` (type: `object`):

JSON object to override default referral/transaction fees per marketplace. Keys: amazon, ebay, etsy, shopify. Values: {referral\_pct, fixed\_fee, transaction\_pct}.

## `include_vat` (type: `boolean`):

If true, adds standard VAT rate per target country to recommended consumer prices.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "products_csv": "sku,name,price,currency,cost,cost_currency,marketplaces,target_countries\nABC123,Widget Pro,29.99,USD,12.00,USD,\"amazon,ebay\",\"DE,GB\"\nXYZ789,Gadget Plus,49.95,EUR,22.00,EUR,\"etsy,shopify\",\"US,CA\"",
  "base_currency": "USD",
  "fee_overrides": {},
  "include_vat": true
}
```
