## Pricing

Pay per event

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## HelloWork Jobs Scraper

**💰 $2.20 / 1 000 results**  ·  pay only for results  ·  no credit card to try

*We do the dirty work so your dataset stays clean.* 😈

Scrape French job offers from hellowork.com by keyword and city. One row per job: title, company, city and department, contract type, salary when disclosed, working hours, remote policy, posting date and apply method. We handle blocks and retries.

</div>

***

### 🎯 What this scrapes

HelloWork is France's biggest jobs board, but it has no public API and its search page is built for browsers. This Actor reads the same result pages and returns clean, deduplicated rows for every keyword and city you give it, with salary parsed into numbers and left empty when the employer did not disclose one.

### 🔥 What we handle for you

- 🛡️ **We send browser-grade requests** (curl-cffi Chrome impersonation) so HelloWork sees a real browser, not Python.
- 🔁 **We retry failed pages automatically** with exponential backoff, up to 5 attempts per page, honouring Retry-After.
- 🧹 **We parse the messy parts** — salary ranges, per-day rates and anonymous employers become clean fields.
- 🧊 **We keep the dataset clean** — Pydantic-validated rows, deduped by job id, ISO dates.
- 💰 **You pay only for results that land.** No jobs, no charge — only the small actor-start fee.

### 💡 Use cases

- **Recruiting pipelines** — pull fresh French openings for the roles and cities you hire in, on a schedule.
- **Salary and demand benchmarking** — track disclosed pay, contract types and remote policy across French cities.
- **Job aggregators** — feed clean, deduplicated French listings into your own board.
- **Labour-market research** — measure hiring volume by role, contract and city over time.

### ⚙️ How to use it

1. Click **Try for free** at the top of the page.
2. Fill in the input form — most fields have sensible defaults.
3. Click **Start**. Output streams into the run's dataset.
4. Export from **Storage → Dataset** as JSON, CSV, or Excel — or fetch via the API.

### 📥 Input

| Field | Type | Required | Default | Notes |
|---|---|:--:|---|---|
| `queries` | `array` | no | \['python', 'comptable'] | Job titles or keywords, for example python or comptable. Each query is searched separately. |
| `locations` | `array` | no | \['Paris'] | Optional French cities, for example Paris or Lyon. Each query runs once per city. Leave empty to search all of France. |
| `maxItems` | `integer` | no | 60 | Maximum job rows for each query and city combination. Each page holds 30 jobs. |
| `proxyConfiguration` | `object` | no | {'useApifyProxy': False} | Optional Apify Proxy. HelloWork answers without one, so the default is off. When a proxy is on, exits are pinned to… |

### 💰 Pricing

Pay-Per-Event — you pay only when these events fire:

| Event | USD | What it is |
|---|---:|---|
| `actor-start` | $0.2 | One-off warm-up charge per run |
| `result` | $0.002 | Per dataset item |

Example: 1 000 results at the rates above ≈ **$2.20**. No subscription, no minimum, no card to start — Apify gives every new account $5 of free credit.

### 🚧 Limitations

Version 1 returns listing data only: full job descriptions, filters such as contract or salary, and company pages are not included. Each search returns up to the pages HelloWork serves for it, 30 jobs per page, and never more than your Max jobs per search. isSponsored is best effort: we have not yet seen a sponsored card, so treat it as informational. Approximate matches are flagged with isApproximateMatch, not removed.

### ❓ FAQ

**Do I need a HelloWork account or API key?**

No. Give us keywords and optionally cities and we do the rest.

**How much does a run cost?**

Each job row costs $0.002, so 1 000 jobs cost $2.00, plus a one-off $0.20 start fee per run (about $2.20 for a 1 000-job run). A search that finds nothing only pays the start fee.

**Why is salary empty on many rows?**

Many employers do not disclose pay. We leave salary empty rather than returning a misleading 0. When pay is shown we give you the raw text plus min, max, currency and period (year, month, day or hour).

**Do I get full job descriptions?**

Not yet. Rows carry the listing data: title, company, location, contract, salary, remote policy, posting date and apply method, plus a link to the job page.

**What does isApproximateMatch mean?**

HelloWork mixes in near matches after the exact ones. We flag them instead of hiding them, so you can filter either way.

**Is the data in French?**

Yes. HelloWork is a French market: titles, contract names (CDI, CDD, Intérim) and remote labels stay as the site writes them, and salaries are in EUR.

**How is postedAt calculated?**

HelloWork shows relative ages such as il y a 5 jours. We keep that text in postedText and convert it to an ISO date from the run time in postedAt. A month counts as 30 days.
