## Pricing

from $6.80 / 1,000 products

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

### What is Home Depot Scraper & Price Tracker?

**Home Depot Scraper & Price Tracker** extracts **Home Depot product data** from the links you paste: product pages, category pages, search results, review pages, the **daily deals** page, **tool and equipment rentals** and **used rental equipment for sale**. Every product comes with its **price**, **sale price and discount**, **store stock**, **rating**, **questions and answers**, **colors and sizes**, **specifications**, **images**, **UPC** and **model number**, and, with **Save reviews** ticked, its **customer reviews**. Pick a **store** for its local prices and stock, set how many products you want and download the data as **JSON, CSV or Excel**, or use it as a **Home Depot API**.

What it gives you:

- **Full product pages**, not just the list: a category or search link gives you its products, each with its whole product page.
- **Prices and deals for your store.** Current price, the price before a discount and the discount in percent, for the store you pick. In a test on 200 Milwaukee outdoor tools, 1 in 3 products was on sale.
- **Store stock, a Home Depot inventory checker.** Units in your store and online, and in stock or not for pickup in store, ship to store, ship to home and express delivery.
- **Reviews and ratings.** Average rating, star breakdown and how many reviewers recommend it. With **Save reviews** ticked, up to **Max reviews per product** reviews, each its own row in a separate **Reviews** dataset (rating, title, text, date, photos, verified purchase, helpful votes, brand reply).
- **Questions and answers.** Up to 8 customer questions per product, each with its answers.
- **Colors and sizes.** For products sold in several versions: every choice (color, size, shape...) and every version with its own link. In a test on flooring and rugs, 95 of 100 products came in versions.
- **Specifications and media.** Every spec in groups, highlights, images and videos.
- **Today's Home Depot daily deals.** Paste the daily deals link to get every deal of the day (the special buys), in every deal section, each with its full product page, its sale price and the section it belongs to.
- **Tool and equipment rental prices.** Paste a rental category (such as skid steer rental) to get its rental machines, or the main rental page to get them all, each with the store's rent prices: deposit, hourly, 4 hours, daily, weekly and monthly. A rental price list for your store.
- **Used rental equipment for sale.** Paste the used equipment link to get the used rental tools for sale at your store and the stores near it, with asking price, retail price and the date it was added.
- **A Home Depot price tracker.** Schedule a daily or weekly run on the same links and compare prices over time.
- Everything the Apify platform adds: **API access, scheduled runs, integrations** (Google Sheets, Zapier, Make, webhooks) and run monitoring.

### How to scrape Home Depot

1. Click **Try for free** at the top of this page. Sign in, or create a free Apify account (no credit card needed). The Actor opens on its **Input** tab.
2. In **Home Depot links**, paste product, category, search, review page, daily deals, rental or used equipment links from homedepot.com, one per line.
3. Pick a store in **Store for prices and stock**: Home Depot always shows prices for one store (default: Marina Del Rey, Los Angeles, CA).
4. Set **Max products**: how many products you want in total. For a quick first test, leave it at 20.
5. Optional: tick **Save reviews (charged per review)** (off by default), and set **Max reviews per product** above 0 (it starts at 0).
6. Click **Start** at the bottom of the page. Results show up in the **Output** tab while the run works.
7. When the run finishes, click **Export** and download your data in JSON, CSV, or Excel format. With **Save reviews** ticked, the reviews are a second table: open the **Storage** tab, pick the reviews dataset and export it there.

- **variants**: every version in the family (item id, link, its choices)

#### Prices and stock

- **price**: current price
- **originalPrice**: price before a discount (empty when the product is not on sale)
- **discountPercent**: discount in percent

#### Reviews (a separate dataset)

With **Save reviews** ticked, each review is one row of the run's **Reviews** dataset, up to **Max reviews per product** per product. Find it next to Products in the run's **Output** tab, or in the **Storage** tab (pick the reviews dataset, then Export). The run page's Export button and the "run and get dataset items" API give the products only: by API, read the reviews from the run's `reviews` dataset (its id is in the run's storages).

- **itemId**, **productName**, **productUrl**: the product the review is about (the same `itemId` as its product row)

#### Rentals and used equipment

- **rental**: for rental machines, the rental type and the store's rent prices (deposit, hourly, 4 hours, daily, weekly, monthly); empty for other products
- **usedEquipment**: for used rental units for sale, the unit number, the rental machine it was, date added, lowest price, Home Depot's cost and the maker's model id (price is the asking price, originalPrice the retail price)

#### Run details

- **dealSection**: the daily deals section the product is in, such as "Mini Splits" (daily deals link only, empty otherwise)
- **sourceUrl**: the product link the data was read from
- **scrapedAt**: when the product was read

Not every product has every detail, so some fields are empty on some products. In a 100-product test on flooring and rugs, every product had images and specifications, 93 had reviews, 92 had questions, 95 had colors and sizes, 71 had badges and 55 had videos.

### How much does it cost to scrape Home Depot?

You pay for what you get: each product saved and each review saved, plus a small fee each time a run starts. Proxies and computing are included.

| Plan | 1,000 products | 1,000 reviews |
| -------- | -------------- | ------------- |
| Free | $9.80 | $2.80 |
| Starter | $8.80 | $2.30 |
| Scale | $7.90 | $1.80 |
| Business | $6.80 | $1.50 |

- **Run start:** $0.012 per run.
- **Questions and answers, colors and sizes, stock and rent prices** come with the product at no extra cost.
- **Reviews** are charged only with **Save reviews** ticked.
- **The Free plan's $5 monthly credit** gets you about 500 products.
- **A quick test of 20 products** costs about $0.19 on the Starter plan.
- **Speed:** in our tests, 20 products took under 2 minutes and 1,500 products about 15 minutes.
- **Set a spending limit** on the run: it stops there and keeps everything it saved.

### Sample output

One real product from the daily deals, from a test run with store #6611 (Marina Del Rey, Los Angeles, CA). In CSV and Excel, lists are joined with `; ` and objects get numbered columns: `questions/0/...` is the first question, `questions/1/...` the second, and so on. Long text is cut with `...` here.

### Use cases

- **Price tracking:** run the same category every day or week and see which Home Depot prices and discounts changed.
- **Deal hunting:** get the daily deals every morning, or find every product on sale in a category, sorted by discount.
- **Stock checking:** see how many units your store has before you drive there, or watch stock of a product line for resale.
- **Rental price lists:** compare the rent prices of tools and equipment at your store.
- **Product catalogs:** build a catalog with specs, images, UPCs and model numbers for comparison sites or stores.
- **Review research:** collect ratings and reviews to compare brands and products.

### FAQ

#### Which links can I paste?

Product pages (`/p/...`), review pages (`/p/reviews/...`), category pages (`/b/...`), search results (`/s/...`), the daily deals page (`/daily-deals`), rental pages (`/c/...rental`, `/p/rental/...`) and used rental equipment (`/rental/used-equipment`) from homedepot.com. The daily deals link gives every deal of the day (all sections), up to **Max products**. A rental category link gives its rental machines; the main rental page (`/c/tool-and-equipment-rental`) gives the machines of all its categories. The used equipment link gives the used rental units for sale at your store and the stores near it. A category or search link gives you its products up to **Max products**. A review page link gives you that product. With **Save reviews** ticked, each product gets up to **Max reviews per product** reviews in the Reviews dataset (on a product with thousands of reviews, some can stay out of reach). A department page that shows categories instead of products (such as Bath or Appliances) works too: see the next question.

#### What happens with a department page like Bath or Appliances?

Some Home Depot pages show category tiles instead of a product list, such as **Bath**, **Appliances** or **Commercial Appliances**. The Actor reads them the way a shopper would:

1. If the page has its own **Shop All** link, it gives you the products of that list.
2. If not, it gives you the products of the whole department, the same products you see when you shop that department.
3. If the department has no product list, it opens the categories shown on the page, in the order they appear, and gives you their products.

Sections that are not part of the department are skipped: brands, deals and savings, special buys, ideas and guides, and "You Might Also Need". So **Commercial Appliances** gives you commercial washers, dryers and coolers, not home kitchen appliances. Big departments hold a lot of products (Bath has over 100,000), so set **Max products** to the number you want; the run stops there.

#### Why is a field empty?

Not every product has every detail. **originalPrice** and **discountPercent** are empty when the product is not on sale, **options** and **variants** are empty for products sold in one version only, and **videos**, **badges** and **questions** only exist on some products.

#### Which store are the prices for?

Home Depot shows prices for one store. Pick yours in **Store for prices and stock** and every product comes with that store's price, stock, number and name. Without a store chosen, you get the prices of Marina Del Rey, Los Angeles, CA (#6611).

#### Is it legal to scrape Home Depot?

This Actor collects only data that Home Depot shows publicly. Reviews can include reviewer content, which laws like the GDPR may protect; this Actor does not save reviewer names. Only use personal data when you have a legitimate reason. If you are not sure, ask a lawyer. Read more in [Is web scraping legal?](https://blog.apify.com/is-web-scraping-legal/)

#### Can I use it as a Home Depot API or through an MCP server?

Yes. Start runs and download results from your own code with the Apify API (JavaScript, Python or plain HTTP), or let an AI assistant run it through the Apify MCP server. Ready-to-copy examples are in the **API** section below. The usual "get dataset items" call gives the products; the reviews are in the run's second dataset, `reviews` (see "Reviews (a separate dataset)" above).

#### Which integrations work?

Send results to Google Sheets, Zapier, Make, Slack, Airbyte or your own webhook when a run finishes. Schedule a daily or weekly run to track prices. Integrations read the products dataset; to send the reviews too, point them at the run's `reviews` dataset.

#### Where can I get help if something goes wrong?

Please open an issue on the Actor's page first. You can also email southdionysus@gmail.com.

*Start your run now and get a ready-to-use Home Depot product list in minutes.*
