## Pricing

from $1.20 / 1,000 products

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## ALDI Australia Product Scraper

Scrape products and prices from [ALDI Australia](https://www.aldi.com.au) by search term or category URL. One result per product: name, brand, size, price, was price, unit price, specials, image and category. $1.50 per 1,000 products on the Free plan, less on paid plans. No browser, so runs are fast and cheap.

### What you get

| Field | Type | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `id` | string | ALDI product number (SKU without leading zeros). |
| `name` | string | Product name as shown by ALDI, including pack size. |
| `brand` | string or null | Brand name. |
| `size` | string or null | Pack size, for example 3L or 500g. |
| `url` | string | Product page URL. |
| `price` | number | Current catalogue price in AUD. |
| `was_price` | number or null | Previous price in AUD when ALDI shows one, otherwise null. |
| `unit_price` | string or null | Comparable unit price, for example $1.75 per 1 L. |
| `on_special` | boolean | True when the product has a was price or a promotion badge. |
| `badges` | array | Promotion badges shown by ALDI, if any. |
| `available` | boolean or null | False when ALDI marks the product as discontinued. |
| `image_url` | string or null | Product image URL. |
| `category` | string or null | Category path, for example Dairy, Eggs & Fridge > Milk. |
| `scraped_at` | string | UTC time the product was scraped, ISO 8601. |

### Input

- `searchTerms`: keywords to search on ALDI Australia, one per line.
- `categoryUrls`: ALDI category pages copied from the browser address bar. They end in `/k/` and a number, for example `https://www.aldi.com.au/products/dairy-eggs-fridge/milk/k/1111111160`. Top-level categories work too.

Give at least one search term or one category URL. A product found by several searches is saved once.

- `maxItems`: stop after this many products in total. Default 100.
- `proxyConfiguration`: fallback proxy, Apify datacenter by default. Each request is tried directly first.

```json
{
  "searchTerms": ["chocolate"],
  "categoryUrls": ["https://www.aldi.com.au/products/dairy-eggs-fridge/k/960000000"],
  "maxItems": 500
}
```

### Example output

````json
{
  "id": "579769",
  "name": "Coffee Capsule Machine",
  "brand": "EXPRESSI",
  "size": null,
  "url": "https://www.aldi.com.au/product/expressi-coffee-capsule-machine-000000000000579769",
  "price": 78.99,
  "was_price": null,
  "unit_price": null,
  "on_special": false,
  "badges": [],
  "available": true,
  "image_url": "https://dm.apac.cms.aldi.cx/is/image/aldiprodapac/product/jpg/scaleWidth/500/0fb7815d-b2c6-4f7c-88ef-ef8dfcf5fc58/expressi-coffee-capsule-machine",
  "category": "Drinks > Tea, Coffee & Hot Chocolate",
  "scraped_at": "2026-10-16T12:40:10+00:00"
}
```json
{ "searchTerms": ["milk"], "maxItems": 20 }
````
Each dataset item is one product with the fields listed under "What you get". `price` and `was_price` are numbers in AUD.
# Actor input Schema
## `categoryUrls` (type: `array`):
ALDI Australia category pages, copied from the browser address bar. They end in /k/ and a number. Example: https://www.aldi.com.au/products/dairy-eggs-fridge/milk/k/1111111160
## `searchTerms` (type: `array`):
Keywords to search on ALDI Australia, one per line. Example: chocolate
## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):
Stop after this many products in total, across all category URLs and search terms. Example: 20.
## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):
Fallback proxy. Each request is first tried directly; if that fails twice, 2 more attempts go through this proxy, each from a different IP.
## Actor input object example
