## Pricing

from $2.40 / 1,000 hotels

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

### Input

- `searchQueries`: hotel searches as you would type them on Google Hotels, for example `hotels in Paris`.
- `maxItemsPerQuery`: stop a search query after this many hotels. Default 60. Google shows about 20 hotels per page, and the Actor follows the next pages.
- `maxItems`: stop after this many hotels in total. Default 100.
- `proxyConfiguration`: fallback proxy, Apify datacenter by default. Each search query is tried directly first.

```json
{
  "searchQueries": ["hotels in Paris", "resorts in Ubud Bali"],
  "maxItems": 40
}
```

### Example output

```json
{
  "search_query": "resorts in Ubud Bali",
  "rank": 1,
  "name": "Alaya Resort Ubud",
  "type": "5-star hotel",
  "hotel_class": 5,
  "rating": 4.7,
  "review_count": 4089,
  "price": 139,
  "price_text": "$139",
  "currency": "USD",
  "latitude": -8.5187697,
  "longitude": 115.263528,
  "country_code": "ID",
  "check_in_time": "3:00 PM",
  "check_out_time": "12:00 PM",
  "website": "https://alayahotels.com/alaya-resort-ubud/",
  "scraped_at": "2026-10-13T05:00:00+00:00"
}
```

### Pricing

Pay per result: one `hotel` event per hotel saved. The run stops cleanly when your maximum charge per run is reached.

### Limitations

- Google's pages overlap and change between requests, so a hotel is saved once per search query and `rank` is the order in this run, not a stable ranking.
- Each page of about 20 hotels is one request, so 1,000 hotels for one search query take a few minutes.
- Stay dates cannot be set. Google picks them (usually one night, about two weeks ahead) and they are reported in `check_in_date` and `check_out_date`.
- The currency is the one Google chooses for the location the request comes from. It cannot be set, and it is reported in `currency`.
- `price` is the lowest nightly price Google shows for the dates in the output. It is null when Google shows no price.
- Sponsored hotels are not included.
- For a search query Google does not understand, it returns hotels near the location the request comes from.
- No reviews text and no personal data.

### For AI agents

Minimal input:

```json
{ "searchQueries": ["hotels in Paris"], "maxItems": 20 }
```

Each dataset item is one hotel with the fields listed under "What you get". `price` is a number in the currency given by `currency`.

# Actor input Schema

## `searchQueries` (type: `array`):

Hotel searches as you would type them on Google Hotels. Example: hotels in Paris.

## `maxItemsPerQuery` (type: `integer`):

Stop a search query after this many hotels and move on to the next one. Google shows about 20 hotels per page. Example: 60.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many hotels in total. Example: 20.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Fallback proxy. Each search query is first tried directly; if that fails twice, 2 more attempts go through this proxy, each from a different IP.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "searchQueries": [
    "hotels in Paris"
  ],
  "maxItemsPerQuery": 20,
  "maxItems": 20,
  "proxyConfiguration": {
    "useApifyProxy": true
  }
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `results` (type: `string`):

Hotels with price, rating, review count, hotel class and location.
